Did anyone see Fire in the Sky? The UFO movie? I think there are UFO's just because of that movie. Not only was it based on a true story but I believe it was 4 people who passed the same polygraph test 2 TIMES! The movie was based on a true story about a guy who was abducted by aliens. He was with four friends I think it was four. Anyway they all passed a polygraph test twice stating that they saw the incident take place. The man was also tested on by doctors and there were things wrong with him that were just unheard of! Great movie I recommend all you who dont believe in aliens or love alien storys RENT the movie! Tell me what you thought of the movie!
That movie was flippin great. I believe that Bill Paxton from "Twister" was in it right. Anyways, I believe in aliens and or other forms of life. How can we as humans, be so arrogant to think that we are the only life forms in the whole galaxy to exist besides water or bacteria on other planets or whatever? It's just unbelievable to say that we are alone. I love this forum. All you guys are my people.

i agree him i have been telling people on this forum as well as friends that we cant be the only in the galaxy.... i mean the galaxy never ends so.... put the pieces together. thanks man nice to hear some1 else say that for a change!
I agree - great movie. If you dig alien flicks based on "true stories" - see Communion - but watch it in the middle of the night. For even greater chills - read the book.
On November 5, 1975 a group of loggers in the mountains of northeastern Arizona observed a strange, unusually bright light in the sky. One of those men, Travis Walton, recklessly left the safety of their truck to take a closer look at the large UFO it turned out to be. Suddenly, as he walked toward the it, Walton was blasted back by a bolt of mysterious energy.
His companions fled in fear. When they reported an encounter with a UFO - something they would have considered impossible if they had not witnessed it themselves - the men were suspected of murder. For five days authorities mounted a massive manhunt in search of Walton - or his body. Then Walton reappeared, disoriented and initially unable to tell the whole story of his terrifying encounter.
In Fire in the Sky Travis Walton relates in his own words the best documented account of alien-UFO abduction yet recorded, the story of his harrowing ordeal at the hands of silent captors and his return to a disbelieving world of hostile interrogators, exploitative press and self-styled "debunkers." Travis Walton recounts the struggle to get a fair hearing, and confronts his detractors with a stinging rebuttal.
Now, the real story behind the hit movie from Paramount - a detailed expose' of the campaign to suppress Walton's story, and first-time revelations of startling new developments.

sleights said this in post #6 : when did it come out? is it a true story?
1989. Yes, it's based on a true story of events that have occured to the author Whitley Strieber. Communion is the first of several books he has written on the subject.
I believe Strieber has a radio talk show now. His web site, which discusses the paranomal, is the Unknown Country
