adityamahesh said this in post #74 : How did those two return to their normal selves?
p.s. I never said that that episode featured Klingons fighting the Borg, just that that was one episode of Voyager where we saw the Klingons.
Hmm.....I never said that you did, AM. I was just making a point which was obviously obvious to you but which may not have been so to others.
With reference to your question (AM), B'Elanna Torres was also assimilated (again, I'm not stating that you said she didn't; I'm just stating another point) and the three of them got themselves assimilated deliberately to install a virus in the collective which was designed to destroy 'Unimatrix Zero'. So, in reality they weren't completely assimilated (ie. sort of like a controlled assimilation). In the end, Voyager returned and simply transported them back to their ship.
By the way, I think that particular episode (Unimatrix Zero) was inspired by the Matrix. The episode revolved around a Borg-dream world to which susceptible Borg which carried a genetic mutation could escape to when they were regenerating, with their personalities and individuality intact. Seven of Nine was one such Borg. However in contrast to the Matrix, the dream world was a means of liberation rather than enslavement for the Borg.
Whid, that Janeway-Borg pic still irks me everytime I see it. There was an episode of Voyager which pictured Seven's face supposedly melting into some molten organic matter, but it looked more like it was covered with mud. Most women who were Star Trek fans but who hated Seven (out of envy of course) must have enjoyed that episode tremendously.

I have another question: What is up with the 'special' humans not having eye-pieces installed? Picard didn't have one when he was Locutus. Janeway and Tuvok don't seem to have one either. Why don't they have them?

I was 100 percent sure that Picard had an eye peice, I remember them drilling the hole for it in his eye and I remember the red laser coming out of it.
However, I went and looked for a pic, and you are right Mahesh, no eyepiece. I do remember the eye getting drilled. I wonder what they drilled it for.
Not sure what the difference is. One theory, they showed some world getting taken over by the Borg, and after they were Borg, they showed them in line to get the add on stuff.
Maybe the Queen wanted a quick fit for Picard and the others so she could put them work right away.
Another theory is that some Borg do certain jobs and they need an eye patch, other jobs do not require it.
Maybe there's a simple reason : vanity. Eye-pieces would make the main characters look foolish and would be the antithesis of cool. Or, maybe humans and Vulcans have better 20-20 vision than other alien species.
