Interesting that no one has said that the Military Choirs and Bands should be "over there" entertaining the troops ! And by the way, the next time you admire any Military Choir or Band, including the wonderful "Presidents Own" you might want to read up on how they got there. Be assured they weren't plucked from the ranks after boot camp.
Let's get a grip here. You are talking about the United States Marine Corps and a U.S. Marine ! Please, please ... let's not chastise/punish Josh or the Marine Corps.
Josh Gracin didn't make the choices here except to enlist and complete the training to become "one of he few". The USMC decides where, when and HOW a Marine best serves the Country in the Corps !
America no longer has the draft, ya' know ? Our fighting force is volunteers ... thus, it is easy to see that a respectful young Marine who was accepted as having some singing talent might better serve as recruiting "device" rather than as a supply clerk in Kuwait.
Josh was the worst of all the finalists on the show this year! The only reason he is still on the show is the misguided notion some people have that they are being great Americans by supporting a Marine who is a third-rate singer.

What a travesty tonight. Josh should have left....Trenyce is much better and Reuben is far better. Josh is the worst of the bunch!!
who cares about whether josh should be in kuwait or not. this is a singing contest - if he has a great voice he should stay if not he should go. people should not vote based on their political views. personally i felt he should have been voted off this week - because of his singing ability, not because of his personal/military life.
lets get things straight . to say that joshy poo is a good country singer is a slam to all legitimately talented people in country today jus6t think of any country star josh really dosent even deserve to be an opening act for them. and for anyone to believe that he is of the same caliber as the rest of the contestants is just absurd. all you need is a set of ears that work to realize this as i did long ago.
People.......everyone is allow their own personal opinion....mine is that Josh can't sing worth a dam and he showed it last night. End of story. Sorry but I think the military is calling you back.

Hundrdakrwud....you are right. Someone else a couple days ago called her a cow. So she is a little overweight? Big deal. Her voice is awesome! Josh should be gone. Yeah...it makes me sick. Everyone thinks ruben is a "teddy bear" because he weighs 1000 lbs...but kim is maybe 40 pounds overweight, but looks healthy and great but is told to lose wieght by the judges and american public. I think she's PERFECT! But yes, I will still vote clay.

AND I SHARE MY VOICE TO THE PUBLIC, THE MILITARY, BUT THEN AGAIN IF I DID JOIN A.I. AND I HAVE THIS CHANCE TO MAKE EVEN THOUSANDS OR MORE, SHOULD I DENY IT AND JUST GET ON WITH MY LIFE... I KNOW I CAN SING, IT'S WEIRD HOW PEOPLE CAN PAY WILLIAM HUNG FOR HIS PERFORMANCE NOT ALONE GETTING PAID BUT PEOPLE WATCH HIM.
