"American Idol" runner-up Justin Guarini's Christmas has gone from bad to worse -- a 2002 car collision has come back to haunt him.
Guarini was dropped by his record label just before Christmas, and now motorist Louis Maiatico and his wife Adrienne are suing him after the car crash.
Guarini's Nissan collided with Maiatico's car in Bethlehem, Penn., while he was on his way to perform at a bar mitzvah 18 months ago, and was fined $100 by local police.
But now the Maiaticos are demanding $50,000 in "fair compensation." The driver claims he has suffered whiplash ever since the accident and missed time at work, while his wife alleges the accident has deprived her of "assistance, society and companionship."
awwww poor justin. he doesnt have that kinda of money. i mean look, he was going to preform at a bar mitzvah!!!! his label probably wanted to drop him for other reasons than JUST the accident tho, he's not that successful, is he? this really sux for him.... it hope it gets better and not worse.
Justin needs to recover from his loss that long ime ago and hit back at the other idolist and at the world that doesnt like him. He needs to come back with force, he could team up and join with another artist such as Justin Timberlake, or Clay Aiken and make a top seller so that he will regain his true self.

That really sucks for Justin... I mean, dropped from his record label? It's not just because of his car crash thing, but the fact that his record bombed.... I blame that on timing from the company... Almost a year after the AI finale, and then a record? I was forgetting him for a while...

did that actually happen??? did he really get dropped from his label? that is SoOoOoOoOo sad!! i think it should have been released MUCH sooner than it was. Clay's album was released not even 5 months after AI, and he was still very much in the spotlight. Oops,... i forgeot Ruben. His cd came out about 6 months after AI2, and he wasn't AS MUCH in the spotlight, but more so than Justin had been. And then there's kelly. she's successful. I think she's the star with the most staying power. OMG.......i can't believe that i just said that. (sorry clay)
