Freedom Tower

I got to see the twin towers when I went on vacation to New York City in 1988.

I stood at the bottom and looked up and was in utter amazement at how high they went. And how massive they were.

That and the Statue of Liberty were the highlights of the trip.

did you go into the observation deck at the top and go on the roof? i did a few years ago and it was awsome. the cool part was standing up against the window and looking down putting your head on the window. i remember someone was getting married at the time and it happened all the time and the waiting list was huge. it was an awsome trip into the city. i only live 20 minutes away from the George Washington Bridge.

The Statue of Liberty was a long wait also, but we went through it and climbed to the head.

I got to see a lot of stuff that I had always seen on T.V.

Bums sleeping in the street.
Steam coming out of man hole covers.
Transvestite prostitutes.
Those window washer homeless who swarm your car.
Central Park.
A drug dealer with a bag of mushrooms.
Trash laying in the street (a garbage strike was on).
Awesome huge tall buildings everywhere, like walking in the mountains.
The subway.
