Just adding on to what some people said before - I think the reason that Jack thinks Bootstrap was a good pirate was probably because he followed the code etc. Some of the pirates said in the film that bootstrap didn't agree with the mutiny because it wasn't right with the code. Jack probably heard about that in some later years or something.
hey i'm new here but i heard that the next story will be with will and Elisabeth kids and their daughter get kidnapped and jack saves her. but he didn't know that she was will's so he raise her than her story runs just like jacks in the first only it is her little brother she saves, she finally mets her family but she choose to stay with jack.
