I have to say though, I like Rosie. I always have. Though, I think that she's gotten WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too out spoken. She really opens her mouth and speaks without thinking too damn much.
I don't agree with her comments about Miss USA, too much. But, if you think about something, we've revoked peoples "crowns" for the Miss USA before (including singer/actress Vanessa Williams) for all different reasons. Why? Because they are supposed to set a good example. And look who "pardoned" her... Trump, who doesn't have a whole lot of morales. He's cheated on his wives, dumped 'em, and moved on to younger and younger. Has children with them all. But, it's okay because it's a man that's doing that. If it were a woman, she would be considered a tramp. Anyway... so Rosie said some true things.
Now, Trump fires back, and he said some horrible things. To say that she's ugly was a low blow... and to call her a fat, lazy, slob... another extremely low blow. Hey, Im overweight... so Trump is calling me that. He can kiss MY fat ass. To say how could Kelly stand to live with that (talking about Rosie's fat naked body) was rude.
So, they were both wrong. But, I think that the Donald lost all of my respect. He was a complete and total jerk. So, HE can go and for all that I care.

You know, I totally agree with Kris's post. Heck, welcome back, it was a wonderful STHU. Rosie is too outspoken these days, but dang her Donald impersonation was dead on.
Trump calling Rosie a fat slob was a little harsh, but what's true on the playground is true in life: she started it. She slammed his hair, marriage, finances and his family. Personally I think Trump was totally clear to unleash on Rosie. This time she bit off more than she can chew. If she had said that about me I'd fly off the handle too.
I'm gonna have to side with the Donald on this one.
Rosie has gone to the extreme with her words lately. Bottom line: dont start crap you cannot finish.
We may soon see her living in a cardboard box one of these days. If she keeps talking smack about people, she is gonna be paying a fortune out in attorney fees.

I don't know that SHE will be paying anything. It was said on the show, The View. Therefore, they would be sued, wouldn't they? I'm not sure, just wondering.

CNN or was it Fox anyhow they had a legal annalist on the show, and they said that nothing Rosie said would cause her to lose a lawsuit. The courts are clear that you can not sue for defamation just because your feelings were hurt. She would have intentionally have to had misrepresent him in an attempt to cause him damage. No case.
Rosie started it, but Trump came out of this no better. He has gone on a tirade and offended more people than Rosie. Hell, she may be over weight, but he is no prize in the looks department either. I mean come on Donald! Using a comb over as your trademark look is so ugly. I swear the guy goes nuts if anyone says he is not a super billionaire, and I will bet that it is the reason he was mad, not because she mentioned his divorces. He is like a guy with a small dinger who is overcompensating with his bank book.

What is up with Trump? First Martha Stewart now Rosie. He is really defensive these days. I can understand him making a statement if he wants but not throwing an immature fit.
I think Rosie could take some lessons from Ellen.
Ellen is likable and successful without stepping on anybody's toes. She is lovable. Rosie, not so lovable as she used to be.

Yeah, it was a low blow, but Rosie started it. She ragged on his hair, on his sex life, on his morality. Mabye what she said was true, maybe not, but she threw the first crap ball, he is simply throwing some back.
She dished it out, she should be able to take it.
I wish Rosie would shut the hell up and stop starting fights with other celberties. She can talk about people and say they are wrong without getting all nasty and dirty with her silly old self.
I'm actually glad people like Ripa and Trump and giving some back. Sure, what Trump is doing is rude and unkind, over the top, but Rosie set the rules up for this little shindig and the Trumpmiester is returning the ball.
