CHICAGO - Kordell Stewart made the most of another chance to start. So did Brock Forsey.

With Chris Chandler sidelined by a sore shoulder, Stewart threw two touchdown passes and ran for another score to lead the Chicago Bears (news) past the Arizona Cardinals (news) 28-3 Sunday.

Forsey, a rookie from Boise State, started for Chicago in place of leading rusher Anthony Thomas, out with viral pneumonia.

In his second NFL start, Forsey responded by gaining 134 yards on 27 carries. He scored on a 9-yard run with 3:33 to go, capping Chicago's 21-point fourth quarter.

The road woes continued for Arizona (3-9). Unable to generate a consistent offense against an aggressive Bears' defense, the Cardinals fell to 0-6 away from home and have been outscored 203-68 in those games.

Jeff Blake, who visited the Bears during free agency, threw two interceptions and fumbled once. Chicago (5-7) finished with a 422-197 advantage in total yards as the Cardinals managed only 46 yards rushing.

Stewart, who lost the starting job to Chandler after an Oct. 12 loss to New Orleans, scampered for an 8-yard TD with 7:46 left. The score, set up by his 29-yard pass to Dez White, gave the Bears a 21-3 lead.

Earlier, Stewart hit White for a 10-yard TD pass on the sixth play of the fourth quarter — moments after Chicago's R.W. McQuarters intercepted an overthrown pass and returned it 29 yards to the Cardinals 12.

The Bears, without a first-quarter TD all season, finally got one by driving 96 yards in just six plays the first time they had the ball.

Rookie Justin Gage made a leaping catch to take the ball away from Cardinals defensive back David Barrett and then raced to the 2-yard line to complete a 57-yard play.

Stewart, 4-for-4 on the drive, then rolled out and flipped a 2-yard TD pass to Marty Booker. Earlier, Stewart hit a third-down pass of 24 yards to another rookie, Bobby Wade.

Stewart finished 22-of-37 for 284 yards.

With eight seconds left in the half, Gage had another apparent TD wiped out. He was called for offensive pass interference for pushing off on the Cardinals' Emmanuel McDaniel before catching a pass and fighting into the end zone. That kept the Bears' halftime lead at 7-3.

Cardinals standout rookie Anquan Boldin was held to four catches, three on a meaningless final drive. His 7-yard reception in the second quarter made him just the 12th rookie in NFL history to go over 1,000 yards receiving.

Bears guard Chris Villarrial strained his rib cage in the first half and did not return, and right tackle Aaron Gibson was forced out early in the fourth quarter after spraining his knee during a run by Forsey. Arizona defensive back Dexter Jackson hurt his ribs and shoulder while defending Gage in the third quarter.
