Mr. F. here

I am hoping for either Manchester United or Ajax because of John O'brien or Tim Howard. If I had to bet money though, I would bet on Real Madrid.

Who's your team lodgebo? I hope Man Utd win it, but won't unless they improve drastically. I think chelsea have a chance, if they can hold it together and I'd like to see celtic get out of their group. Wouldn't bet against Madrid though.

In all honesty I thought he was an outstanding player he has great pace, vision, passing and a pretty good striker of the ball.
Mind you is one of a lot of quality players to come from the US.

Monaco have got a decent chance of doing something particularly after hammering Deportivo, but in all honesty winning it is maybe out of their reach this year but the last eight is a real possibility.

I agree with you about Bayern and Real and I think the final will be Real vs Ajax.

2 left and Monaco are still in it.

Im actually starting to pull for them. With 10 players Deschamps puts on an ATTACKER , and they net 2!

With the score 2-0 to Chelsea they keep their heads up and get 2 back. Then what does Deschamps do? He puts in an attacker! Im not sure if he is a lunatic or a genius, but I love this guy!

ps Well done Maja. You are the only one to mention either Monaco or Porto

I just cant see past Monaco they are just so good at attacking and with Morientis in front of goal well you are pretty much guarnted a goal.

Porto are a good team but I honestly do not think they will win it. It will be a close run thing though and there will probably only be a goal in it.

1-0 at the half. Morientes was clearly onside in the 34th minute. Too bad he wasnt allowed to continue, Porto would still be attacking if the score was 1-1. Im afraid they will sink into a defensive shell for the second half

3-0 Porto. They were definitely the better team on the day. I just think its unfortunate how the first half offside call influenced the game. 1-0 at the half allowed Porto to defend/counterattack, which they do exceedingly well. If the score was tied at the half, it wouldve been more entertaining, probably with the same result though
