In the world of horror, there are endless possibilities. But when you think about it...what is more scary to you? Something you would see in a horror movie or something in true reality? I have two questions so here goes the first one, in horror which killer is most likely to become real?
A) Michael Myers
b) Jason Voorhees ( the story told that his body was never found )
c) The Springwood Slasher ( Fred Kruger before death )
d) Leatherface ( i'm from texas and trust me there are some weird things in certain wooded areas )
But the thing I write my books about is true life horror. Not terrorism or any kind of war...the end of the world would not be horror it would be tragedy but in reality there have been some real life monsters.....which one of these true life horror cases would you consider a possible choice as a monster.
A) Jack The Ripper
b) Jeffrey Dahmer
C) Henry Lee Lucas ( killed over 150 men and women...was a career killer )
D) Albert Fish ( mass child murderer )
E) Richard Ramirez ( satanist serial killer. No remorse for his actions )
My choices would be for 1....Michael Myers. Myers isnt dead or myth, in the world of Halloween he is to them what a mass serial killer would be to us. I could see some freak getting a Myers mask and using it as a trademark. Myers isnt a demon or a ghost of a former killer, hes a live killing machine that has yet to die in any of the Halloweens.
My other choice would be a mix up between Albert Fish and Richard Ramirez. Fish was a sick bastard, he would disguise himself as a friendly old man and offer jobs to people ( his crimes were during the depression ) and get to know their kids...he would say he was taking them to a picnic or something for fun and they never saw Fish or their kids again. Fish was a cannibal and wrote letters to his victims family telling them how he ate their children. Even if he was in his 80s, any guy like that would be a monster to any child. Last but not least..The Night Stalker Richard Ramirez.
A lot of the serial killers see the error of their ways near the end...not this guy. He claimed he was commanded by satan to kill and when he was caught he did nothing else but wish death upon everyone and everything around him...this guy was a true psycho.
The only difference between this guy and Lucas is Lucas broke down and started to work with the cops to help them find his crimes ( he lied about having close to 200 murders in effort to confuse them ) but after a while he gained a friendship with governer George W in Texas...Ramirez didnt go past anything besides wishing death upon everyone.
Just one thing, you do know Leatherface (and the whole texas chainsaw massacre) idea is losely based on the real life story of Ed Gein right? (which was also the basis of Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho). Ed Gein did seriously kill people and use their skin as a mask, as well as different parts of their body for ornaments, clothing and kitchenware.
Michael Myers is the most realistic, except he did die a few times and just lived through it... but in the first movie, he's most definately quite real. However all the killers in Texas Chainsaw massacre are a little too real for my liking, when I watch those movies...
And yes, the real killers you mentioned are really sick SOBs

The true story was based off of a few things..one being Ed Gein except Ed Gein didnt have a family and the texas chainsaw massacre is based off one or more cannibals. Another story would be a police report from Redwater Texas in 1973 where police found a den of bodies inside of a vacated house in the deepest part of the woods but was never released to public (it was a population 400 town). The report stated they found skin masks, skin outfits, and numerous things made of human organs.
I would say B) (not being an actual jason voorhees, another look alike) & AA) Tom dilinger
There are millions & billions and trillions of people on this earth. Among all of them, one sick 1 would go out & slash throats just cause they do in the movies. Mafia, Gangs, Phycos, & more kinds of people are examples. So really, there is a "jason voorhees" around us all.
Tom Dilinger. He is the best killer. I know what u may think, best? He made his victims deaths short & not apinfull by shooting them in death hitting blows (neck, head, heart, etc/) Not to mention others would just shoot others like nothing around us too, like the DC snipers.
so the moral of what i'm sayin:
'No matter what we may do or try, we will always have horror around us, till they day were born till the day that we die.'
