Arnie won big, and the InReview server went down? Any connection?
Hooray for California -- Davis is HISTORY!
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 (New Testament, King James version)
That's not true, bit... he opposes gay marriage. He doesn't oppose the relationships. Anyway...
It will be interesting to see what happens when he steps in to office, and if he can get our state budget back up and running out of the hole that it's currently in. Will he go after the triple vehicle taxes? I believe that he has to wait one year before he can... isn't that right? How is he going to help out education? Those of us that work in that field are waiting, and trying to be hopeful. Will he stop California from giving out licenses to those who are here illegally? I sure hope so. He's facing some huge challenges, and I hope that he and his team can do it.
California needed a change, and we got one. Now we wait and see...

vehicle fees problem is being discussed, however, i heard a legislative analyst say yesterday that it can be changed immediately, but a state senator said no..... so here we go. btw, i just paid $440 for my service truck, that would get me 29.33 years of registration in Oregon. interesting huh?
Yes, that will be interesting to see what can happen with that. A lot of people are going through the roof with anger over this vehicle tax. Personally, I think that it could be a good idea... to help our state budget with a lot of money. If he removes this, there's a lot more money for him to have to cut somewhere else to bring us back up in the positive.

well, i've paid the $$ for the increase, but as it is a business i'm running, does anyone think i'm going to absorb that cost? every time the govt. sees fit to hit business, it is not business absorbing the hit. it is passed to the customer, ie , consumer. so prices go up, then govt hits business with more fees, prices go up, so on and so forth. until govt. bends to the trial attys. then insurances go up, and prices go up, or business leaves for a more hospitable climate. then you are left with the big boys, who will and do charge you alot more for their services. this is what is happening in calif. it is what arnold said he wants to change. if he can get the legislature to do that, then he will be successful. if he can't, and i think he won't, then he will fail. if business can't make a go of it here, they will move, and many have, many more are waiting. we'll see. but lest anyone think elsewise, without business this state is sunk.
