The executive producer of Arnold Schwarzenegger's recent film COLLATERAL DAMAGE is warning colleagues in a purported email: "Please be sure to vote NO on the recall. I know Arnold personally. He is in no way qualified to govern anybody or anything."
An email claimed to be written by producer Hawk Koch began circulating in top studio circles on Monday.
FULL EMAIL:
"Friends, Please be sure to vote on Tuesday. Please be sure to vote NO on the recall. I know Arnold personally. He is in no way qualified to govern anybody or anything.
"I spent 6 months with him, he showed ZERO leadership qualities. Even less understanding of budgets. When speaking of women and adultry his line was 'Eating in not Cheating'.
"He called latinos –low foeheaded fans!!!
"We must stop him and that means you must do whatever you can to be sure and get to your polling place. Also call or e-mail all your like minded or on the fence friends a get them out there. Thanks Hawk."
Koch, who has donated dollars to Democrats in the past, could not be reached after repeated requests for comment
Watched Tom Brokaw's interview last night and saw Arnold blaming "the others" for all the scandal. I've been reading for years that he was a pig with women. But--they knew that no one would believe and/or do anything about his behavior. I can't believe that all those people are going to vote for him, what a creep!!!
I am voting for arnold. I would rather have someone who can make a mistake, and go on TV in front of CA and apologize for something he did wrong. Arnold will be a good thing for our economy, and california. I would rather have him in office than Bustamonte, Davis, Gary coleman, Marey Carey or some other idiot out there who really doesnt have a clue.
It all seems a bit of a joke over here, and probably elsewhere. We may be getting misinfomation though, all we get are sound bites of Arnie going around saying "I'll be back", "Asta la vista baby", "Let's Terminate Ray Davis" etc... With loads of people cheering.
I presume our press are only showing these bits as they are funny, they must have cut out all the bits about him showing his knowledge and skill at governing/ people management and new policy making. All we see is a load of movie addicts voting for their favourite star. Who are they actually voting for? Arnold S. or Terminator/Mr Universe/Action hero?
Everybody is concerned that Arnold might not being qualified to be governor, so their choice is to vote no on the recall for someone who we know for certain isn't qualified? What do you guys have to lose by electing arnold? Oh, i get it. You lose the uppercase D next to the governor's name, which is more important to you than the well-being of california.
Well, fortunately only californians have a vote in this election, and they have too much at stake to leave a walking disaster in office because of what party he hails from. Arnold is hours away from being the new governor, and that is the will of california, the only thing that matters in this case.
Very good point, jrkiv. I'm glad that our state vote didn't include people from all over. We know what a mess we're in, and that Gray Davis wasn't getting the job done. Yes, he increased the jobs in California... but what in the world did he do for our budget? Why did he sign laws for people to come here, illegally and have licenses? Why didn't he make education a top priority and do some changes there, instead of keeping our districts top heavy, while all the little people get laid off? He did NOTHING to help there. I work for the school district.
Arnold is now our governor, and we shall see HOW he does. We needed a change and got one. Is Arnold qualified? Who knows? Was Davis? In no way... so we made a change. Arnold has a team that will be working with him that will help him out. He might screw up and not do the best job... but, so might have anyone else.

The name of the ousted Governor is Gray Davis, not Ray Davis. I'd say the UK editors did a little too much cutting.
You know, California's economy is the 5th largest in the world, (USA, Japan, Germany, UK are the top 4, and the UK barely beats California.)
Some stats:
California is the 5th largest economy in the world. Its output of goods and services exceeds $1.3 trillion.**
California is by far the largest high-tech state in the nation, producing more than $150 billion in high-tech goods and services annually. **
California has the largest IT budget in the nation; $3.95 billion. *
California's state budget is $98.9 billion, making it the largest budget the nation. *
The gross state product of California is $1.4 trillion. ** (UK's is $1.424 trillion)
California has a population of 34.5 million and has 302.9 thousand government employees.*
