he isnt the reason she won i agree. but he is the reason she was as far as she was. she did end up giving him half of $125,000. so i guess that whole cereer theory thing wasnt true like she said.
I have to say if i was Charla I would have kept the money to. You could see the greed in Dave's eyes. I would have questioned him just the same. Way to go Charla.
The greed in Dave's eyes?! Did you see the greed in Charla's eyes. She never wanted to share that money with Dave. And when Toni and her girl came and filled her head with all of that nonsense, she (Charla) was relieved. Everybody know, especially Charla, that Toni is ENEMY #1, and she listens to her?! After all of the hell Toni gave her, she takes the advice from someone she knows that can't stand her and Dave. She was waiting on an approval committee. Charla was like, "Yeah Toni, you're right."
First of all, Charla never said "yeah Toni you're right". Secondly I do agree that Charla wanted to keep the money but I don't think she was waiting for an approval committee. Deep down, she wanted to keep the money and Toni was her excuse for doing so. I still think though that Charla made the decision to keep the money at the very last moment when she realized that Dave was lying about not caring for the money.
If I were her (charla), I think I might have kept the checks but promised him a lesser amount. He did do her a service in helping her along the way and she did win only because she wasn't with him. She could have just said, "hey dave, tell ya what- I am going to give you 20K for standing by me." it is not like dave didnt do paid inverviews with everyone who would talk to him once he got off the show. there is even a "send dave a buck" campaign. the kid isnt stupid, he got his money.
