Grant, oops. I moved your cat pics to your own thread... so you could put pictures of all your 'children' in here. I accidentally deleted the first attachment. Can you put it back in? If not, e mail the pic to me and I will add it, since I can edit posts in here.

She's beautiful, but very shy... She kind of keeps to herself, but if I go, pick her up and bring her into the bedroom while we sleep she spends the whole night digging her claws into my skin, trying to get a comfortable position. Actually, she is my wife's sister's cat (though she lives with us), but the only person she's ever felt comfortable with is me... go figure.

That's so sweet. I love cats that like being close to their owners.
My cats ARE my kids, and I love having them with us. When they aren't sleeping in the room with us, I wake up and know that they aren't there. It's just another comfort that animals bring to us.

It's like our dogs... their love is unconditional, and it feels great to wake up to a wet tongue on your face.... actually, no, it's awful, but I like it anyway

kind've sounds familiar... but I have no idea to be honest
Our dalmation baby used to sleep in our bed every night (especially in winter)... and we usually have the black dog in with us on the floor. Sometimes the Samoid too, since he wont bark if he's in the room. We love them to death. Usually when the black dog wakes up in the morning she'll come up to us and lick our faces or feet... My wife also taught all our dogs how to hug.
btw, our Dalmation has Chronic hepatitis... we just found out last week, and she's looking okay, but not too good. We take her to the vet everyday to be put on a drip for a few hours, and give her some injections everynight... this morning she smelt some food we were eating in the car, and my wife said that's a good sign that she's hungry, but I wont stay too optimistic - she's 11, I can't expect her to live forever. I'm too worried to have confidence

Oh Grant... I'm so sorry to hear that about your Dal. That's hard to go through. Pets are the hardest to lose, because of the unconditional love that they give you throughout the years.
That line was from the movie, "Cats and Dogs"

Oh, I guess she'll have to lay off the cocacola for a while Yeah, yesterday she drunk LOTS of water when we got home... and didn't throw up. We also fed her some chicken something ... well, i'm not sure what it is but my wife says it's healthy and the vet suggested it. No oil is the big thing though, so far so good... she's got color back, and she can walk up and down the stairs by herself without falling down. Still a little dizzy though, but once she starts eating properly again, she'll be lots better
