Simple. I want to have matrix forum addicts recommend good movies for me and anyone else to watch. Why, because we all have good taste obviolsly; or else we would not be here right?

I can't think of alot right now but i'll post as i read the threads.

Donnie Darko-Really good movie

TrueRomance- one of Tarentino's 1st movies.

Wet Hot american summer- funniest movie ever.Final

i though the transporter was pretty slick, it has some really nice, well-choreographed martial arts fighting. and definitely check out equilibrium

an older movie that didn't seem to go over too well is pitch black. i really like it.

i thought swordfish was good. and tears of the sun and minority report.

and i guess you had to grow up with this one but i love TRON too.

four rooms is another odd tarentino flick. and there's an old low budget film called cube that is worth a watch.

the only part of four rooms i liked is tarantino's part... the rest of the movie wasn't worth watch, except to understand why the guy's so ticked

Tron is cool, definately.

I gotta say, as far as action movies go, my favorite is Long Kiss Goodnight with Gina Davis and Samual L Jackson... very cool.

Also, 13th floor is one of my favorites, with a matrix-type storyline to it (though not much action)

Oh, everyone should check out From Dusk Til Dawn too with George Clooney and Tarantino... it's tarantino meets john wayne meets a heap of vampires.

Sling Blade (with Billy Bob Thorton)
no sci fi in it, just Billy Bob wantin some more "french fried taters"

The ninth gate (with Johnny Depp)
movie is kinda slow, but has a twist ending

The forbidin Planet
50's movie, a little cheezy, but watch it in the right mood, and it's a mind trip

Also, not a movie and I have not seen them since I was 9 or 10 years old...........the Battle Star Galactica Series. I would like to see those again and see if they hold up to adult inspection.

There is an old Battle Star Galactica episode where Starbuck and crew roll up on this planet and it is party time and everything is free and it is such a great place, etc etc.
Low and behold, it's a trap and aliens are taking the visitors to caverns beneath the surface and putting them in either pods or something simular and sucking energy out of them.
I would like to see that episode again.

But I loved the Hulk when I was that age and tried to watch it on Sci Fi last week...Could not get back into it. Doe!!!

I really liked "Unbreakable" with Bruce Willis... Something about the idea of an ordinary, everyday superhero for today is really appealing to me for some reason
