I can't believe JOHN did that!!!! i thought i hated him before but now i hate him even more! he is a douche bag to say that his grandma has died just to be with his jerk friend!!! i CANNOT believe that!!! that is the meanest thing i have ever seen! <REMOVED FOR THREATENING VIOLENCE>
I too despise the Jon but I have come to realize that at this point
in Survivor I would have become bored and stopped watching
if it wasn't for the fact that I want to see that weasel Jon
get his just reward. I also think that if he isn't already on All
Star Survivor he should be.
We have a dilema with Jon. The smart thing would be to make sure he's one of the final two, because the jury (other than Burton who deserves his friendship) will not vote for him. The problem with this is he will get second prize.
I think someone posted an article about his lie, and it said he would regret this lie for a long time, but he didn't know it yet when he told the lie. I wonder what they mean by that? After all, they know the ending of the show (except for the live event), so it tells me something happens that Jon regrets it.
It could be because his grandmother really dies, or the hatred he has to endure from the other tribe members is not worth the lie, or the hatred from America is not worth the lie. Perhaps he got home, only to find out his grandmother was not pleased, and he thought she would applaud him. I hope they tell us.
I think that Delta read a weekly magazing, just recently, with an interview with Jon's grandma. She isn't mad at him... said that she was proud of him and hopes that he wins! I don't know that it will be him that regrets things. I think that it could be Sandra, allowing people to think that Christa tossed the fish. It could be anything.
But, you're right, kooka... I don't want him in second place, getting 100,000.00 Though, the top 4 are the ones that get money. Can't remember what third and fourth place get.
Jon

IMHO, I don't think there's a dilema. I don't really care which of the ladies wins SS, as long as Jon doesn't go one step further than he already has. Of course, I'd rather see Sandra and Darrah in the top two rather than Lil (and I really wish she wasn't there at all as she certainly hasn't done anything to get there and deservedly got booted already).
I'm a few keystrokes short of calling Jon the Anti-Christ, but I won't (but I guess I did, LOL). He's sub-human in all respects, but I'm sure there are purists out there who feel that he's done whatever it takes to Out-Play, Out-Wit, and Out-Last to get where he is today. I don't feel you have to be the devil to win.
I suppose if all of the winners of Survivor had used those same pitiful tactics to bag the big bucks, then it wouldn't be such a big deal and I wouldn't feel so passionate...but considering he's slithered his way into 4th in a worse way than even Rob from Marquesas I'm just not having any more of his crap.
I don't wish ill will on anyone, but I truly believe in the "What Comes Around Goes Around" theory in life and if something has happened to his grandmother that makes him regret his actions, then I hope he at least fondly remembers the wonderful pow-wow shindig he had with his bosom buddy at camp in the Pearl Islands.
I say get rid of Jon faster than the speed of light, and then let the jury deliberate and choose one of the final two ladies. BTW, are we all really sure that Lil would get picked to win over Sandra or Darrah? I'm not sure I understand that logic...she's been such an underachiever and non-troopmaster during the season that I'm not sure they would vote for her to win...
I agree... I don't know that Lill would win. She got to come back in the game, after being voted off. Being brought back on pissed a lot of people off. So, I don't know that they would hand it to her. Because, she didn't earn it. The others, well, they did. They weren't ever voted off. If I had to choose between Jon and Lill though, I would give it to Lill. I haven't liked Jon since the beginning. He has been cocky since day one, and when he got drunk that first night, I was extremely unimpressed with him and his personality. Johnny Rotten needs to be put away. Say goodnight, Gracie. He has done nothing around their camp since day one. He has not once been shown going out in the ocean to try to provide. I see him flapping his mouth, spewing crap, more than anything.

It's a game and Jon's move was brillaint. The lie wasn't told to win the reward challenge with his friend...the lie was told to gain sympathy from fellow castaways and help him in the grand scheme of things. Unfortunately, Johnny Fairplay is the least sympathetic character on the show and it would take more than a dead grandmother to help him.
I find nothing brilliant about telling people that your grandmother is dead, swearing on your dead grandmother, her grave, etc... I find that dispicable. There is nothing "fair" about Johnny, other than his hair. I hope 4th place is as far as a slug like him gets.
