Patrick Stewart in Talks for X-Men 3?
Source: E! Online Wednesday, October 15, 2003
With the unfortunate news that Patrick Stewart is separating from his wife, E! Online does mention that he may be in talks for X-Men 3 already.
In addition to the Star Trek franchise, Stewart's also made a name for himself as the X-Men's Professor Charles Xavier in the series' first two installments and is already in talks to star in X3, scheduled for a May 2006 release.
With Hugh Jackman on Broadway until late next year, this seems a bit early, but you never know. Thanks to 'spiderken1'

Gambit's the guy with the cards, but he's a 90's incarnation... I prefer the originals... Was Angel in X2? How about Dazzler and Longshot? What about Cyclops' little brother, Havoc? Or Banshee? Has the english version of Psylocke shown up yet? Rogue should take over Carol Danvers (Ms. Marvel), and get all her powers permanently. Also, no more stupid little girl as Rogue... Rogue is supposed to have a thicker southern accent, and she's supposed to be PRETTY!!! Why is she being played by that girl? She's not even CUTE! Anna Pacquin... Please.... No more Anna Paquin (how do you spell her last name, anyways??). Rogue is supposed to be HOT, strong, fierce and often angry because she can't be touched skin-to-skin... She's supposed to look up to Wolverine, but more like a little sister, not like a daughter..... Ggrrrrr......
Colossus should play a bigger role also... And his little sister, Ilyanna, should get a small part, along with the younger group, called New Mutants...
Of course, all this can't be done in only one movie, so go with several sequels... One with Apocalypse, one with the Sentinels, one with Mr. Sinister and the Marauders slaughtering the Morlocks in the abandoned underground tunnels (which would give Halle Berry reason to return as Storm, and become the leader of the Morlocks after defeating Calisto), and maybe a set of 3 with Onslaught, including how he changed the timeline... Ahh, maybe that's too much for a popular movie franchise to handle.......
It really seems to me that they've got Rogue looking up to Wovlerine as something like a lover. They have her come across as a love sick young girl toward him, and I really hate that!! And you're so right on about how she is supposed to be, and the girl that they have isn't who should be playing Rogue.

Glad to see that someone else understands why Rogue may be one of the most enjoyable X-Men... Definitely more enjoyable than Cyclops, Storm, Iceman... My faves were (in order) Wolverine, Rogue, and Colossus.
Edit:
Oh, and you're right, KJ... Rogue has a crush on Wolvey, which is sick... Wolvey sees her more like a little sister in the comics (or at least that's what I glean from their relationship...), not like a daugher (which is what I was getting from the 1st movie...)...
The blue devil guy is Nightcrawler, and in the comics he's one of the X-Men. I haven't seen X2, so I can't guess on how or if he'll be included in the next installment. Pyro is supposed to go baddie, and in the comics he's not too important... Pyro, the Blob, and Avalanche are supposed to be together in a group led by Mystique in the comics, but I have no idea what they're planning for X3...
NightCrawler was in X2, and he had a pretty important job. He helped out, numerous times, by teleporting to save someone!! Don't know HOW big his part will be in X3, but I hope that they keep him around.
John, or Pyro... left the Xmen near the end, and took off with Magneto and Mystique. It was quite obvious that Magneto had the talk with John that he did, and he KNEW that he was luring him away over to his side.

I agree about adding in some people that played bit parts in the X2. Colossus was in there but only for a second as some bullets ricocheted off his body while he turned to steel. By the way, they made him an American, when in fact Piotr (his real name) is Russian! They had Siryn in there wailing! and a few other bit parted people that should have less bench time!
