As for the movie loved it, expressed my few complaints earlier (like... 4 of them i think I had), but I think it was just what was needed to get us a whole new line (no pun intended) of Freddy movies!

I hope they make more freddy movies...jason movies too, I don't hate jason, I just wish his movies had a bit more plot behind em...killing is not enough for me, I like some story thats why 6 is my fav. and I also like Jason x becasue there as a bit of story there! But a new freddy movie with freddy acting like he did in this movie (dark and more evil than ever) would be kick ass!!!!!
Yeah, I loved Jason X, but ya know how many people thought it crappy.... But they did it good (even though i thought it would be ridiculous)
I reckon Freddy was pretty dark in Wes Craven's New Nightmare already. Though the new Freddy is somewhat... hmm... not sure, he had his moments in FvsJ when he was pretty sick though.

Him humping a dead woman after lori says your not comming? (while jason is a little kid) and saying its not my fault this ***** is dead on her feet..thast dark and very twisted, the way Freddy needs to stay, i hate Freddy's Dead just because he is too funny...But I like Freddy's dead becasue he is so funny...make sense? Freddy Just has personality that no other Villian has and Its all because of the Great Robert Englund no other Horror Icon has had as much put into them by one guy the Freddy by Robert, and that makes him King in my book thats why they need more Englund aint gonna live forever, and god help the first Freddy Replacement if there ever is one...
hehee Freddy's dead was hilarious "The map says we're ***ed!"-- I try to seperate it from the others a little... Though one dark part of that movie is the fact that there are no children left.... and the starting was a little spooky... as was the part where the guy sees himself covered in blood and yells "free me, I'm your f'in memory!" - but true, that's about as far as it goes.
What I was scratching my head most about that movie though is why make it freddy's dead? He died exactly the same way in the first movie, what makes this one so special?
Freddy doing that raping dead woman... true, pretty dark. Didn't have a lasting impact, on me atleast. What did you think of that Freddy worm though?

Dunno, Dragging him outside the real world don't seem to kill him forever I think it wasn't a great idea just having his daughter doing it was supposed to "kill" him forever.....that makes no sense
I liked the freddy worm...Not quite as real looking as Gollum, But much better looking than the hulk so it was above average I would say Visual wise....Freddy banging the Dead chick did have a lasting inpact on me so much as how damn wrong that is....its funny because she asked your not coming?! but its just ...bad becasue she was really dead.....overall funny bit but very dark!
I don't think he can either and if he ever was i would hope Englund like trained him to be freddy...that would be the only way it can be done..but Englund is Freddy.
I loved it when the stoner kid said "Dude, that goalie was pissed off at something". Or something to that effect. That was the best line that I have heard in a Freddy flick in a while.
I Liked when (and this ain't so much a one liner) but jason swings his machete at freddy as soon as freddy is dragged into the real world, and it gets stuck in the table again...Freddy is standing there with his arms spread apart slightly, Freddy then looks down at the machete in the table, then he looks jason right in the face and laughs...(I loved that) ,,,I also Liked when Kia was talking trash to freddy and said So your the one everone is afraid of..and he does his Bow ...that was classic!
I love some of the effects a lot, like when Freddy gets dragged into the real world... that kind've panning effect was pretty good, they never used it before in a freddy movie (though this is the first time he's been dragged into the real world and he's actually BEEN there!)
True, Mr Blonde, makes no sense that he dies.... But did they even mention that it's because his daughter kills him that he dies? I don't think they did.... It was a rather pointless movie, though still entertaining to me....

The Freddy worm wasn't bad, but as you said... the effects just we're perfect (really, my only problem with it is when it goes under the damn door...)

Yea I agree thats why its not up there with Gollum (when it goes under the door that is...as far as on screen its seemless! I mean the worm opened to door to get in...why shimmy cartoon style under it?) Thats The only thing i can think of is them emplying that is why he is dead forever..because his daugher did it.....because he has been killed in the real world before...and that wasn't supposed to be dead"forever" So i dunno.... yea it was okay...but that is the movie people don't like freddy they say he jokes around too much...they need to go back and rewatch the ones that begin with nighmare on elm street...they are good al 5 of em'... in each of them he is PURE EVIL C'mon feeding a girl till she pops, whos mother always hastles her about her weight, and what a cover girl would do..thats EVIL.
Hehehe my favorites are 1, 3 and 7. The others are great, of course, but if I wanna watch any of them it'll be out of those 3 usually. I think 3 scared me most out of any of his movies the first time I watched it... The problem with that is most of them were cheap scares (make you jump, but nothing really happens). Hehehe as for the girl popping well, I didnt really enjoy that part, but it's true, quite evil. As for freddy being dead... well, he's not so whatever their idea was, didn't work hahaha (suckers!)
Oh, yeah, beside going under the door, the worm's cool. What do you reckon's the best way to bring Freddy back in his own movie? Like, in Springwood... but how do you (everyone I mean, not just Mr Blonde) think they could freshen the story to ensure Freddy's as powerful as ever? Oh, let me ask the same question when it comes to Jason too (might as well): how to you continue with a solo jason story after freddy vs jason?

I like all the Freddy movies, Freddy's Dead is the one thats more of a spoof than anyting...but since its freddy i tolerate it...but Do do not like it as far as the others.....1,2,3,4,5,,7 THEY RULE!!!
I think they should start (if its not a prequel) the first one off (weither it be a freddy movie or a jason movie, Kinda Clearing up that last scene from freddy vs jason, If it was a dream world...let jason rise up from the lake kinda scared or pissed off...and if it was real have him toss freddy's head in his tropy closet so it will kinda SHUT the whole neverending quesion about what it a dream or not...and out luck they will start each series off like this...so it will look like they each one depending on which one you are watching....
