freddy dies? Freddy's Dead?
I'll give you the other 3, but Freddy's dead? No way! Try Nightmare on elm street 2 for a crappy one

Aaawww c'mon Freddy's Revenge isn't that bad. I acutally Like it...Freddy is pretty mean in it, it has a story and freddy gets his highest body count. But the worst would be Valentine remember that ..its bad...Jeepers Creepers..thats Awful... ..hummm....Any of the Friday the 13ths 1-5 are bad... Freddys Dead is a bad horror flick but I like it because its freddy so Im sure If i wasn't a freddy fan id go the other way...

I love Stephen Kings, The Stand. I have seen that movie over and over and over. I've read the book a lot too. It's just one of those movies that I will watch for the rest of my life. I love that it deals with good vs. evil in such a realistic way... with a government made disease that kills out humanity, except for a handful, and those remaining have a "calling" to the side of God, or the side of the Devil. Awesome message behind it.

Are you crazy! 28 days later is a sweet movie. It screws with your head psychologically when the main character wakes up in London and it is totally deserted. It gets your blood flowing physically with the infected zombies chasing the survivors. And it also plays with you philosophically as it asks are uninfected humans any better than the enraged infected ones.
The best thing about this movie however is the realism. Unlike other horror movies, you have the feeling the whole time that this scenerio is plausible, which makes it that much more exciting. 28 days later is like the golden version of the stand, however since that movie is on your list as well, i guess there was never a chance of you liking it.

Personally, i like 28 days Later. But c'mon, if your talking about crappy horror's, you guys are missing out "The Hole", "Hollow Man" and the obvious choice..."Stephen King's Night Flyer". Does anyone disagree on any of those titles? Because i hated them! I would also of mensioned Jeppers Creepers if it hadn't already been mensioned.

True Mr Blonde it's not bad and freddy is more evil, but something about the movie just rubs me the wrong way sometimes I do enjoy watching it, just not as much. I just wonder why they played with the main ideas of the movie too much... and the main character being a guy? That's a one and only for freddy movies I think there's a reason (this is the only freddy movie with homosexual suggestions, I think)... dunno, maybe these, maybe other reasons...

xonyon, that movie is either Road Kill or Joy Ride (depending where you live). It was worth the watch, though in general that movie did suck.

I like night flyer and hollow man (though I never see this as a horror movie). The stand... well, good concept, just the execution of this isn't good. My ass was so sore after the movie, and I didn't think it really needed to be as long as it was. (Though book atleast I could pace myself, though I don't think the book is even in the top 20 King books)

I do like Jeepers Creepers though so maybe this makes my opinion invalid The movie gave me a slight case of the creeps, which is a lot for recent horror movies.

28 Days Later is one of the best zombie movies that has been made in the past decade.

Freddy's Revenge is a decent follow-up to Nightmare on Elm Street.

If you want to see a good Stephen King movie, watch "IT", "Graveyard Shift", and "Silver Bullet". Three very good movies.

If you want to just see some good classic horror....watch "Re-Animator", "April Fools Day", "Silent Night, Deadly Night", "Omen", "Puppet Master", or "The Unnamable".

The worst horror movie that I saw was "I Spit on Your Grave". Personally, I was not much of a fan of that movie.

I saw I spit on your grave, you're right legend

Also right about those being the best King movies!

I'd also like to add Rosemaries baby to your list... I think that is a fantastic horror movie, along with the Exorcist (doesn't have the same impact now, but when I first watched it... damn)

I agree the Exorcist was an awesome movie for its time. I also agree with legend on the good King and Classic horror movies. I read the night flyer and if the movie was anything like it it sucked! I think They was suck a bad movie. I didn't really like fear.com. Eight legged freaks was bad as a horror movie but great for comedy. Identity was a great movie but I'm not sure you'd classify it as horror.

28 days later is mint, only because it manages to be genuinely scary, uses digital video throughout (i think! some bits look a little to nice to be DV), and it's british. i'm pretty sure the director's intention was to make a standard horror film as opposed to a drama/black comedy ala shallow grave , with solid acting performances, Christopher Eccleston's performance especially. Of course it's cheesy at times but, has anyone who has seen this film not had the adrenalin rush that lasts about ten minutes, when our hero gets back into the house and lets the zombie loose, all set to godspeed you black emperor?

I like Vampire movies and I mistakenly bought a movie called the Vampire Hunters...uh, yeah, it was dubbed from Japanese! And it was sort of like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (another dumba$s movie) meets Salems Lot.
