Well, Freddy vs. Jason opened up yesterday as everyone knows. I was just wondering to those who have now seen the movie, what did you think of it? Was it what you were expecting?
I loved it. I found the movie to be a great piece of work. Freddy and Jason had some great kills and the fight at the end is just awesome!!
what you said man it was awesome, at the end I was like holy s**t never expected that, everybody start clappind it was great.
awesome kills, women, funny, it was great.
I put this movie in the top 3 of Nightmare On Elm Street and Friday the 13th movies of all time. The effects were solid and the kills were great. What made this movie very good though was the fight between Jason and Freddy and also the large amount of nudity. This was a great movie......plain and simple.
Loved it. Yeah, there's alot of cheesey crap in it. But some of the kills, (like the second one in bed), was incredible. And the showdown at the end was great. I wasn't at all disappointed with the ending. They could have cheesed the ending out alot worse.
That show was funny as hell. I loved it. I mean the fight could of been longer i thought cuz all the talkin got be bored I mean my dad fell asleep in it.
i was a little disappointed with freddy, he didnt get as many kills as i had hoped and the movie didnt seem long enough, but other than that the movie was amazing, it was great to see freddy on the big screen again jason gets a little old after a while cause he doesnt have a personality, if there is a sequel freddy should definatly win
I'm probably the only one that didn't like the nudity, I know it wouldn't be officially a Krueger or Jason movie if they didn't have that stuff in it, but I still stuck my tongue out at it.
Freddy is so mean, trying to drown Jason when he's a little boy. (She was going to do CPR on him. HA!!!)
The form of nudity was done in a very plastic, barbie doll sort of way. As any guy would like enhanced tits (and, of course, I do - I'm a friggin' guy!). Still, I think people should keep in mind that natural is always the best. Especially for this type of movie. It was kinda like being caught in a Britney Spears nightmare. Like falling asleep during the movie, looking around, seeing Britney Spears everywhere, and hearing Freddy's maniacal laugh in the background. Maybe that added to the horror for me. Who knows?
Anyway, the movie itself was a hell of a lot scarier than I thought it would be. I figured it was gonna be a complete, no plot, Godzilla vs. King Kong in the Matrix age, sort of nonsense. Of course it was none of that. Also, I didn't think it was that boring. Way more "action packed" than any other Nightmare On Elm Street or Friday The 13th could ever invite. And what about Freddy being a totally sickassed bastard? I mean, we've always known he was sick, but it was veiled a bit. In this one, they let all the horrible social taboos fly wild, and let us into Freddy's sick world!
I enjoyed the outcome, the fight scenes, the jokes, the plot (as good as one could get for this type of movie), the effects, the horror, the nightmare sequences, etc.. All just exceeding my expectations. Hey, I thought it was going to exceedingly blow. I never really liked any of the other Jason or Freddy movies, save for A Nightmare On Elm Street 1, 4, and "New Nightmare," and Friday The 13th parts 1, 2, and 6. All the others were all sort of lame, that just seemed really boring instead scary.
So, yes, Freddy vs. Jason should go down as one of the bests ever!
I think it RULED, I only hope the do NOT make a sequel they just use this to get us ready for new line of nightmares and fridays! A sequel will make the whole idea a waste. C'mon freddy accomplished his mission he is remembered and he is feared again...why fight jason again? why bring jason back from the dead again? no need let Friday the 13th bring Jason back not Freddy....that will be kinda silly think about it.
