Hello there t.a.T.u. fans!!! I need to get some serious and honest opinions from all of you, especially those of you who are here all the time.
Some of the staff have been discussing some possible changes that we want to make to this forum, and some others as well.
We would like to take the t.a.T.u. forum, and make "mini-forums" within this one forum. So, when you click to go into the t.a.T.u. forum, you will have links to go in such as...
pictures forum - where you can post pics and discuss them
fiction forum - where you can post fan fiction
concert/public forum - talk about their concerts and public appearances
off topic forum - where you can post whatever you want, whenever you want
Also... I would appreciate, with your feedback about this, some other "mini forum" topics from you.
Within each mini forum, you would have all the original threads that you have now, plus any new ones that you would add.
The main concern and reason for wanting to do this is because when new people are coming in, they are viewing threads about topics that might look interesting to them, and after a few posts, all we see are off topic comments, goofing off, etc... which is fine, but we want to structure things a little.
I don't want to go through and delete posts that you have all done over the months, but I want to do something. And I want that something to be positive, and to have you all still coming around, chatting, posting, talking to each other.
So please, let me know what you think about this idea, and the staff will talk about things, and let you know what we've decided.
It is very important to us that you have a say in things, and that this forum be something that runs smoothly, and that you are comfortable with.

This forum does tend to get off-topic a lot. Normally, that's a big problem for Forum Leaders. However, in this forum, almost everyone is a regular and no one seems to mind. The only problem we're facing is the new-comers to the forum, who often can't find what they are looking for. Everyone in here seems to enjoy talking to one another, so we want to cater to that while simultaneously keeping the forum clear and organized for the people who are looking for information.

Unfortunately, this is a change that is rather unlikely. INReview's color scheme, or lack thereof, is designed to highlight the advertisements at the top and sides of the page. If the color scheme included colors that were not neutral, like gray and white, ad agencies would be less attracted to INReview because their ads wouldn't get as much attention. INReview relies on profit from advertising to bring you a state-of-the-art, well maintained, clean, fun, and FREE experience.
Alternatively, fell free to use smileys in your posts. I'm not talking about over-use. I mean things that have to do with your post, express your emotion, and add a bit of color. You can also add colors and formatting to the text in your posts.

i would like to ask if there could a resources mini-forum in which we can add ftp's or HTTP's from where u can download mp3's or video,concerts

Nion, I think that one of the things we will REALLY need to be careful about with links is what the content will contain. We need to make sure that there isn't any porno affiliated with the site, like links we have found before.

Well, I think that is something that Mike and I, and the other staff members will have to talk about.
I think, personally, that it would be a good idea. But, we will have to monitor what get's posted as links. And, I think that we would really have to count on all of you to let us know if something has been posted, and gotten past us.
I love the idea's that you two have come up with. Do you have any other ideas? Any one else out there have anything?

Yes. After we re-structure the forum, we will create a references sticky in the main room so that everyone can find all the stuff we moved. At that time, you'll be able to post all your outside t.a.T.u links as well.
the idea of mini-forums.. in my opinion.. sounds interesting..

i think you can change it around with sections and stuff all you want but it will still end up with stuff all over the place, posts in the wrong sections, and stuff
you moderators are going to clean it all up and organise it, just to have to it be unorganised again in a couple of months. Dont get me wrong i think it is a godd idea, but will prolly end up being a waste of time.
Once we restructure the forum and add sub-areas, we will begin to get strict on the off-topic situation. There will be an off-topic room for general discussion. Any off-topic posts found in other rooms will be split out and moved into the off-topic forum. We will make sure that the time we spend improving this forum will not be wasted.
