I thought it was so good and I loved everything about it as specially Jack Sparrow( Johnny Depp). I is a great actor and I think his character was really cool! He looks really good for his age. What do yo think about it? Explain why? irate:
Pirates of the Caribbean is my favorite movie. I though too that Johnny Depp was great! I was surprised that it had so much comedy in it. I thought it was going to be a ghost/horror movie, but it was actually a wonderful movie. I would say that my favorite part of the movie is when Will and Captain Sparrow are looking for a ship and the British Army is coming after them and that guy tried to swing to the ship with a rope and swung into the water! It was hilarious! I do believe it is the best movie of the summer!
AWSOME MOVIE, Johnny Depp was hot, even with all that make-up on(which actually made him look hotter, my opinion!!!) and Orlando Bloom, when will my mom get me my poster ooh he wasd too die for hot in the movie, and even better when he got all wet and dirty, that's so sexy, even his Elizabeth is hot(i'm not a lesbian) even the monkey...i love monkeys, they are so cool

they do not see what lies ahead when sun has failed and moon is dead"
actually without johnny the movie would;ny have been so amusing, he is such a great actor. That guy looks so HOT in that pirate outfit (or without it...I wish he would take it of!....hothothothothothothothot)!!!! the movie is cute but johnny is definatly the best part of it!
erm... I don't want to join this thread where everyone just says johnny is hot, but I do want to say that I enjoyed the movie, and thought that it was quite interesting, amusing... blah blah, all the actors were perfect in their rolls, blah blah
Basically it was a very good watch, and I'll be buying the DVD.

We just rented the movie tonight, and it was GREAT!!!
I thought that both Orlando and Johnny did incredible jobs!
Johnny Depp has proved with the part of Captain Jack Sparrow just how much of a diverse actor he is.
This movie is definately on my list of dvd's to buy!!!!
The special effects were great. I loved seeing the pirates as skeltons.
That last fight scene when Jack is a skeleton was great... changing from human to skeleton, over and over.

"Pirates" kicked some serious @$$. It is definitely one of my favorites. I plan on getting it on DVD eventually. That way, I can watch it when ever I want to. In my opinion, it's one of the best movies of 2003.
It's black. It's shiny. I'm keeping it!

I heard somewhere that Johnny was the one that wanted to add all the comedy with Captain Jack Sparrow, also the directors really didnt want him to have the whole thing with the dreadlocks and eveything else he put in his hair (whatever it was).....but I think they finally realized it really made the film awesome
May the wind always be at your back and the sun always upon your face, and the winds of destiny carry you aloft to dance with the stars.
Hey, Captain Barbosa wasn't acted too badly either. In general, all of the actors, regardless of their part, seemed to do rather well. Even Kiera Knightley's maidservant did a good job for her bit part.
To be honest, I was hoping for a bit more history, as my background is Jamaican and the movie was set in Jamaica before the city of Port Royal was sunk by an earthquake in 1692. Port Royal was a popular port for Pirates back then. And it also rose to be the most important commercial center in English America at that time. I look forward to Pirates of the Caribbean 2.
