I'm new to the FAME following - only caught the last 3 shows, however, I'm curious as to how exactly the votes are tabulated. What are the chances of 2 contestants making the final round from each group??? Group 1: Shannen & Alex; Group 2: Serena & Brandon; Group 3: Allyson & Justin; and Group 4: Lee & Moy. Seems to much of a coincidence. Anyone else notice?
I noticed how they conveniently ensure the line up is boy, girl, boy, girl, boy, girl....
Personally, I think the voting is steared towards what the producers want, and the viewers are along for the ride, and are being used to make brownie points with the ratings.
Sorry Fame fans, but too much of this is organized, unfair, and appears to be preplanned. Do they think we're stupid as to not do searches on the Internet to find out who the contestants are?
But then again, I don't ever remember hearing the producers announce Fame was in this to take an unknown and find talent not already out there in this industry. If that's that case, then they haven't led us astray.
I may have misunderstood the intent of this contest. I thought it was to find the unknown, and give them a chance at breaking into the industry. I just don't see it this way anymore, especially after learning the experience, and connections, some of the contestants have.
So, I look at this as an entertainment if I have time. The voting system seems fixed to me. Now, if the network wants to post the voting on the Internet so we can see how the votes went, that would be nice. Does anyone know of such a place?
Do you notice they hide the popularity ratio from us? American Idol told us the percentage of votes (not that they couldn't have rigged that) but at least we had an idea of how the voting was going.

I think they didn't really make it clear enough, and in my opinion, deliberately. Just look at how the spoiler thing went. They encourage people to send in their video tapes, and then pick someone like Tyce? Did he even (have to) send a tape?
I feel bad for the not so professionals, who really thought they had a shot! Let's hope that the tv exposure might at least get them some connections!
Famester: You're probably right. However, me thinks that the spoiler may be one of the winners instead of Serena or Harlem just as Wild-Card Clay Aiken was in AI.
