I was really bored and wondering if there were anymore Claysites I handn't stumbled upon yet. Well, I was looking at the numbers of the search results and Clay had about 98,000. Still wondering, I was thinking how many numbers Ruben had? I type in Ruben Studdard and he, the "American Idol Winner" comes up with only 37,800!! Bah ha! you Ruben fans, sorry but that goes to show CLAY IS MORE POPULAR (and you bet your ass he will be for years and years to come, dead serious here people)!!! and im not saying that just as Clay fan but, as a fact, yes yes as true fact! hehe, just wanted to share...
I think both Clay and Ruben will have a long career, but Clay's will be much longer. I*m a HUGE Clay fan, but I still like Ruben and I always hope for the best for him, too. I don't like when people put Ruben down, just cause he won American Idol. That's all over now and it doesn't matter, Clay and Ruben are going to be just Clay and Ruben and not American Idol's Clay and Ruben. I hope for the best for both Clay and Ruben always! You know what so funny? People at my work seem to know Clay more than Ruben. I work at one of the store and we have a magazine section and every time we (the teenagers) talk about him, the adults who work with us would be like "oh, it's that kid on the Rolling Stone magazine" I think it's pretty cool. Our store manager even play his song the first day the single came out.

It was my understanding this was a talent competition, bot a popularity contest. Still bitter Clay fans?
I think Clay will have a better career than Ruben, because Clay listen and changed during American Idol. If something is not working for him and he gets the right direction from the producer or manager or director he will be able to change. I don't think Ruben has as much versatility.
I think the reason that the reasont aht clay has had more sucess that RUBEN is because everyone burns rubens songs onto cds and I think that RUBEN has better poblicity and he will have a longer career
Hey Ya'll.... I was so mad when Clay won American Idol... You know the episode b4 the fanale... When Brian was like "Is the next American Idol Gonna Gonna Be Clay Aiken.." and the Clay Fans screamed... then he did the same with Ruben.... and he didnt get as many cheers as Clay did... I was so mad..cuz my mom and dad liked Ruben and I liked Clay..then when Ruben won I litterally BAWLED... my mom was totally flipping out... I thought she was gonna have a nervous breakdown... Well i think Clay had American Idol wooped in the ass... There had to be a scam ...

Have you ever seen a Beatles concert on film? You can't even hear the band, does this make the Beatles a great band or was it their talent as musicians and songwriters? Just because a bunch of young girls screamed louder for Clay does not make Clay more talented, it means Clay is more appealing to young girls. Your parents liked Ruben because they saw the talent, and didn't need the cuteness.
Why do you think we (us Clayfans) love Clay? JUST because of his cuteness/sex appeal/??? NO, its the whole package. He has the voice, the look, and the personality. We're not just a bunch of shallow superficial 10 year old schoolgirls here, we love Clay because he's got IT. That boy's got talent!!

Is that what I said, or are you twisting my words? I never said he didn't have talent. I was saying that just because someone screams at the top of their lungs doesn't make someone more talented than someone else.
And yes you are admitting he appeals to you more because of his looks and the "total package", others don't need these superficial attributes to make a decision on whose singing voice they prefer.
Ruben sucks and for him to win the Clay phone lines had to be tied up or something. Clay was the only one who wasnt in the bottom 2 or 3 of the top ten. He is more popular. His CD soled out faster and he is defiantely more loved and cuter then Ruben. Plus what shows has Ruben been on. CLay is SOOOO Much more popular!

I don't care if you like O'Town or not, it was directed at you attitudes about talent and how you percieve it. Popularity does not equal talent. David Cassidy, Sean Cassidy, Lief Garrett Backstreet Boys, 'Nsync et al, none of them have stood the test of time. Clay won't either
