Since we are on the subject of Freddy vs. Jason........I thought that all you horror fanatics would like to express your thoughts on your favorite horror villain.
My personal favorite slasher is Fred Krueger. His background and the storylines to the Nightmare on Elm Street movies are just ingenius. I am a huge NOES fan and feel as though Fred Krueger is the smartest slasher in horror movie history.
My freinds and i have argued over the best horror villian many times. All three of us have different Opionions. My one friend, lets call her Sally, LOVES Micheal Myers..i'll admit he's okay, and he's got that freakie thing of leaving after you turn around...but he's too slow. Speaking of slo, HELLO JASON! Jason is just...slow and stupid! Yes he may have a big body count, but c'mon, ..just no. Last but not least FREDDY . Freddy is amazing. I, i guess you could say, grew up with Freddy in a way. I have always been terrified of him. He is DEFINIATLY the best! Hes fast, funnie, scary, weird, and CREATIVE! He is one of the best!
I guess its pretty obvious who i think will win in the upcoming Freddy vs. Jason movie (comming out in August) But what do YOU guys think! Id really be curious to kno your opinions
Whoa, this has the potential to be one VERY hard choice. I'm going to have to say that my all time fave has got to be Pinhead (along with all his little Cenobite pals). Just pure evil, no malicious laughter or maniacal stalking.... just shows up and calmly rips apart his victims.
BUT I will admit to having a soft spot for Mr. Vorhees, seeing as the Friday the 13th flicks are what first got my hooked on slashers.
i think that michael myers is probably the coolest of them all. However, i like Jason, but i still dont understand how, people run the opposite way of him, but then they turn around and there he is. Terribly uncool. I dont really like Freddy, just becuz he is mean to all the little kids lol. But i wuz impressed with Wes Craven's New Nightmare. Oh, and while we r on the subject, wut about the monster from Jeepers Creepers?
The monster from Jeepers Creepers would be the "other" choice on the poll. That monster is a great horror villain and I most definitely renting Jeepers Creepers 2 when it is out on DVD. There are so many to count though. The Dijnn from Wishmaster, Rumpelstilskin, Dr. Giggles, etc. I love them all.
I think Freddy is better. I mean, he's a f***ing dream. Jason can go to hell, fall apart, or sumtin, mike........i duno never really liked the movies, & Jeepers... maybe, but Freddy is #1. & who the hell is that chainsaw guy? who cares, if hes not popular to star against Jason Kruegar or myers, he sucks!

I like Micheal the best because he just has that grace of aura around him,
if you look at his past you can't help but admire his reasons,
when Jason kills, its just slash, black out, dead and thats it.
Micheal kills with grace, and theres something about that stupid little walk of his that scares the sh*t out of most people.
Freddy is just silly/scary, I laughed more times at his movies, the girl spills gasoline on him and he waves his arms in a frightened manner like a little girl, catches on fire, runs up the stairs, runs into the door and falls all the way down. Freddy is cool, but he's just so incredibly UGLY. ^_^
I think things that are mysterious and can't be reasoned with are much more scary than things that can talk to you and reason, like Freddy.
ive never seen the halloween movies (tho il try to get my hands on em) so dont all u michael myers fans get on my case, but freddy owns the hell out of any other horror villian ive ever seen, (tho "IT" is kinda cool) "friday the 13th movies arent even scary, so u jason fans can F**K off
there r plenty of great horror classics, some that r not even that scary, and some that r pretty freaky. The Exorcist would be a great movie for someone to remake. Name some other movies that u guyz think r good.
