Work it off - I did post #1  quote:

I believe in proper excercise and the proper intake of food as the absolute best solution and way to go. You feel better about yourself - etc etc.

I'm a fair looking guy now , at 180 pounds 6'0 (some think that's too thin when they hear it, but its great) - but I used to be 273 pounds

My X girlfriend didn't believe me and she never saw the picture until last year (she's one of my best friends now, known her for 5 years and dated for 2. that was 3 years ago).
She laughed and laughed because she couldn't believe that was me (she is a very beautiful girl ) and it took about an hour to convince her other wise.
Couldn't believe I was that large - but
that was about 7 years ago.
I worked it off and couldn't feel better about it - never wanted to waste my money on say - slim fast, even if it worked when you could do it for free.
people need motivation - not this "I'm going to sit around and wait for it to just go away" attitude.

Problems don't just "Go away."
Out of sight out of mind doesn't work when it's in sight every day.

Out of all the diet plans they come out with - people seem to go over board. They don't eat enough and lack energy to do the things they want - or they eat too much on some other plan and believe it will change them -
I'm not really familar with DIET plans, since this one I mentioned is all I needed.

Self esteem is another thing to hold onto - don't pay attention to what people want to see, but what you want to do. People come and people go

I never worry or have worried about people's opinions of me.
That's just me though

I live by a moto -

You don't like me, don't be around me - If you cannot accept me the way I am before you know me - your loss, not mine.

"The hardest thing to do in this world is be yourself - when the world is constantly trying to make you look and act like everyone else."

The only people who can lose weight the way you say are the ones that ate too much to begin with. There are probably alot of them out there. I know what I eat though and I walk almost everyday, which I realize isn't big exercise but should count. I have tryed lots and lots of diets, some work, some do not, none work in the long run. All they do is slow down my metabolism.

I never ate too much - so that is a good thing. Walking is actually better then say, jogging - because your heart rate remains static - you have to keep with it. The metabolism will slow down if the body does not get the proper nutrients --- that's where not eating enough on diets comes in from my last post.

Nope - I started eating properly and did a lot of work outs. Some days i didn't want too and wanted to give up. Its hard to change habits - since we are creatures there of.
But I was able to battle through it, and i think anyone can with enough effort.
