Okay,
Everyone is saying that they are so sick of seeing Ruben. Well we all know that this won't last for much longer.
Clay is obviously going to outlast Ruben (it's sad, but true... cause Ruben is probably a great person)
And as much as I'd like to have a recount of the votes, I surely would not want to see Ruben go through that. And Clay being the wonderful guy he is, that would really break his heart to see his friend Ruben get hurt.
I agree. Ruben is likebale in his own way and he will have an audience that will sustain him in the music industry but Clay is clearly more talented over all and has a livlier personality so he will eventually achieve super-stardom in the not too distant future.
I think people are taking their anger out on Ruben even though what happened is not his fault and he is a good singer for what he likes to sing, so yes, let Ruben enjoy his time in the limelight as the #1 guy. If he is lucky, he may get almost a year of top celebrity status from it, but I wonder about that after seeing his almost monotone and single-syllable responses to interview questions, which makes him a difficult guest to have on a show (more work for the host to keep things moving alaong). We'll see as time goes on.

Yeah, I looked forward to each week just to see how much Clay was going to "Wow" us with his performances. I almost wish he had a weekly spot right now!
I used to run the show sound through my stereo and crank it up. He sounded so awesome!
I can't count the number of times I got goosebumps all over during some of his songs when started stretching into the upper registers as only he could do. Just an amazing singer.

I completely agree with you two. As I had stated in an earlier post, I'm mostly sad that the competition is over and I can't get my weekly Clay fix. I had prepared myself that possibly Clay would not win and lots of times the most deserving person does not finish first. At this point, it's only a title, but it would have been so cool if he'd have won. I had three favs in the competition, Clay, Kimberly L. and Ruben. And in my opinion, that's the order they should have finished. Does anyone know the status of Kimberly L. and if she's doing anything now? I think she has amazing talent too, heck, I like them all, but none of them can hold a candle to Clay.
If he (Clay) is on any more talk shows or any kind of show is there a way that people can post it on here ahead of time! Because I have no idea when he is going to be on and I would like to watch it! (I miss him... )

I agree let him enjoy his fame but what happens if it comes back Clay is the true and real winner Ruben is getting praised all over for getting the Title but Clay has the better voice and is barely getting any airplay Justin G. had more air time then him. So I don't think it fair because Clay doesn't look attractive to have on their shows and they want the winner not the runner-up. Why isn't anyone reading my Vanessa Story come on and read it and help answer the question I placed!
I just need to start my own hour long talk show and have Clay be a weekly guest... "All Clay! All hour long!" *Sigh* if only. I think I would get a lot of viewers dont you?

Hey, remember the original thread? If you are watching (and taping!!!) the talk shows that Clay and Ru are on, they have an amazing and adorable chemistry. It's so cool to see how they take cues from each other and half the time they're ignoring the interviewer and kidding around with each other!!! Ok--- now where's that movie featuring this unstoppable duo. Ru is a great winner because he's totally embraced Clay (from day 1) as his partner in fame.
You know what? You're right. Why continue with the criticisms of Ruben and whether or not he deserved or did not deserve the win of the title. It is obvious that Clay and he are good friends out of all this and we will probably see them matched-up for some time in movies, concerts, and probably recordings as well.
Like I said in another post, Clay accepts this and embraces it as God's Will. He is not losing sleep over this issue at all, but a lot of us fans are. I actually think that Clay coming in second on AI2 was a blessing in disguise for him. Just look at what is happening in the aftermath of the controversy on the voting!
Clay will be fine. Ruben will be fine. We will see them together and separately for some time to come before they start to separate into their own distinct paths as individual stars, each in his own right. Maybe FOX did have a bias, maybe the judges did too; regardless, Ruben and Clay will both find their own success in the industry, even though I still believe that Clay is a more varied and wider appealing talent and will be a star of tremendous magnitude, none-the-less. Just look at how many fan clubs have already popped-up for Clay and how he is getting mobbed like the Beatles used to be when they first came here.
I wish them both well in their new lives as stars.

I agree Cheetah222. And I apologize because I, like many others, have not been saying the nicest things about Ruben. I still think that Clay was robbed but everything will work out for the best.
