Just saw this yesterday, it was fantastic. I only saw half of the second movie, but I can tell you this about the series...each movie is a very different movie from the last, and this is no exception. And you will NOT be disappointed with the action, this is one of the top 3 zombie movies I've ever seen.
MINOR SPOILERS:
Think the main character ("Alice", now) could kick ass before? Wait til you see her take on thousands of zombie birds at once. Never seen anything quite like it.
