"Something like this is so horrifying, it makes you want to puke They got this girl out of Charleston and took her to Big Creek (west virginia) , threw her in a shack ( were she was forced to live), RAPED and STABBED HER, PUT A ROPE AROUND HER NECK, MADE TO EAT ANIMAL FECES and did other horrifying things to HER ( lick up blood from the floor, drink water out of a toilet )."
" I mean, I've been in law enforcement for over 30 years, and THIS IS THE MOST HORRENDOUS THING THAT I'VE EVER SEEN or EVER ENCOUNTERED."
And these people are not going to be charged ? Where is the outrage that was given to Vick? or other Black entertainers/
well they're being charged, but not with hate crime.

Most likely racially motivated which is sad like I said in the Jena case I would have hoped that in the 21st century we would have gotten past this racist crap.
But Malcolm I don't think you have read the story, the case will not be treated as racist because the kidnapping charges carry the heavier sentence so you have a choice goe for racist charges and get a few years or go for the kidnapping and they potentially could get life in jail these people deserve the harshest possible sentence so you go for kidnapping.
I did not read the sherriff's report. My first thought is it's probably racially motivated though. I don't see how this case is a mirror on America, however.
How can anyone deny this not a hate crime? Unlike the Duke Rape Case there is much evidence that cannot be COVERED UP by lawyers. WHERE IS THE(conservative) MEDIA !
How can anyone read the FACTS of this case and not see this was racially motivated?
6 white people kidnapped, raped and tortued a Black female. An anonymous tip brought Logan County Sheriff to a mobile home. The Black female victim staggered of the home asking the deputies for help. She was badly injured, with her eyes black and blue from brusing.
According to POLICE RECORDS FILED :
- repeatedly stabbed in the left leg
- sexually abused ( by several people)
- the Black female was called "ni*ger* many times
- made to eat rat and dog feces
- lick up blood from the floor
- drink water out of a toilet by her captors ( 6 Whites)
- hot water was poured on Black victim
- choked with a cable cord
- forced to live in a shed during her weeklong captivity, and
threatened with death if tried to leave

This case is microcosm of how justice system deals with cases where Blacks are the victim.
This is a hate crime but I can see where Heck and some other people especially in law enforcement and criminal justice have a problem.
The case that is currently ongoing in the Sates is a good example, in I think West Virginia as well 13 yeard old white guy walking home doing nothing no affiliation to any group is attacked by four blacks who gave him a damn good beating, the incident is on tape and everything. Now in this case the media, the family, some cops and even some civil rights campaigners (Al Sharpton has offered support to the boy and his family) have said this issue is racially motivated but the police that are investigating are not so sure and are only looking into wether it's racial because of the hassle they have got from the family.
Now this case is relevent because here we are back in Virginia woith what is seemingly another racial attack but yet again the cops don't want to see it that way, what a bunch of incompotent a$$holes how blind are they that 2 racists attacks happen and they don't do anything, this state has the worse cops in America right? wrong they are actually very smart cops that want the perpatrators to serve the harshest possible sentences. You see what Malcolm and the family of this boy negelect to mention is that to succesfully get a result in a race case you have to prove beyond all reasonable doubt that these incidents would never have occured if the victim had been of a diffrent race and that can be very difficult, but to prove somebody was kidnapped, tortured, raped etc etc is easier and rightly or wronlgy carries a heavier sentence than a race attack and to prove ( esp when it's on tape) that somebody is the victim of ABH or GBH is easier to prove and again rightly or wrongly carries a heavier sentence than a race attack.
The thing to rembere is that just because a black person is attacked by whites and vice versa it does not always make it a race issue and sometimes it's better to ignore public opinion and do the right thing which is to put these people away for a long time.
And don't even bring up the Duke case. That was a witch hunt and anyone of reasonable intelligence can see it. The girl was a liar. The DA has been disbarred and may go to jail. Those are the facts.
I'm confused. Is there proof it was a hate crime, other than the fact she was black and they were white? A hate crime has to be racially motivated, couldn't they (maybe even honestly?) plead that they picked the woman for reasons other than race?
Again, I'm basing this view off not knowing of any other proof it was a hate crime, but assuming it was because the defendants were white and the victim was black seems like a form of racism all its own.

You admit "This is a hate crime". This implies race was involved in tortue and rape of Black female.
This isn't some top secret incident where you can use army tecnique to spin incident . Everyone can see the evidence of a hate crime. Even you couldn't deny that fact.

Read police file of what happened in incident. A Black women was the victim of that by 6 Whites in rural (confederate) West Virginia( similar to sections of Georgia) . And she was repeatedly called a nigg**.
If this doesn't qualify as hate crime to you, we want to know what does.
