So Wayne Rooney has fractured his metatarsal yet again that is 3 times in 2 years I believe.
Man Utd boss Alex Ferguson has said at least 2 months before Rooney is back in training which means he will miss England's games against Germany and more importantly Israel and Russia.
So Can England survive these games with out him? yes he is temperamental but he is goalscorer,he can annoy the defence and he does care I also think England have a lot more belief with Rooney out there.
The question is who will play up front? Crouch does not seem to be in the plans of Benitez and Marcus Bent may or may not be a regular for Spurs but he was benched on Saturday it really only leaves Owen as a regular goalscorer but is he fit enough to handle international football after his injuries and who plays with him?
I would not want to be McLaren at this moment in time he needs 6 points and Russia and Israel are flying at the moment plus any dropped points may see Croatia capitalize, he is without Rooney and Beckham so he is in for a tough few weeks.
