Hi everybody, I'm close to complete my Ph.D. in Informatics (Artificial Intelligence). I've been told that in New York a Ph.D. assistant in his first year has a wage of 60,000 $ per year.
Can anybody confirm me that this is realistic? I'm asking this because in Europe the avg. wage for Ph.D. is 14,000$ per year.
