The Kozlov gimmick didn't go over well with the fans and after a few dark matches where he wasn't recieved well he was dropped back to OVW to hone his skills.
Vince will want to push him in the future if only to annoy Jeff Jarrett. He would annoy Jerrett because Jarrett's own father showed Koslov to Vince when Jeff was trying to get him for TNA. Jerry Jarrett lost his TNA job for that.
