Paula Abdul canceled media interviews on Friday as an online video emerged showing Paula behaving awkwardly. In the clip, the television star is slurring and gesticulating her way through a TV interview a day earlier. Viewers suggested she appeared intoxicated with either drugs or alcohol.
Abdul's spokesman, Jeff Ballard, denied that was under the influence of alcohol or on some kind of medication and said the U.S. performer never drank, reports Reuters. The clip is titled "Paula Abdul — What is she smokin'???" on YouTube.
"How about a lot of you coming in," said Abdul, 44. "It's a wild party where you are."
"She was exhausted. This was at the end of three days of press (interviews and appearances), and she has had cameras following her around for a reality TV show too," said Ballard, referring to a new documentary series about the star's life.
"She was sitting in a room with just a camera and a mic on, and the controllers dropped the sound twice, which is why she rolled her eyes."
"She never drinks. I have known Paula Abdul since she was 13, and I have never seen her drink ever in my life. ... And no, she is not on any kind of medication," he said. "She was a little tired."
She diefinately appeared to be on something. "Well lets put you this way..." haha.
She acted drunk not tired.
Although, being tired can make you loopy, I work night shifts and on night that I'm off I don't sleep during the day, I get a l bit crazy by bed time.

Yeah a dropped mike makes you smack your lips and slur your words. Yeah right! I think it was booze or possibly muscle relaxants. They can wack you out for sure, but dang, she was really messed up! That woman needs to get into rehab!
A lot of people at work were saying that she acted drunk last night, but I must have missed it, she seemed like normal strange Paula to me, not drunk Paula.
