Courtney Love has a new look for the New Year after getting a nose job and new lips during a pre-Christmas trip to France. Sources claim Courtney visited a surgeon in Paris, who specializes in fixing cosmetic disasters. Courtney's been wearing those huge, collagen-filled lips for years, but a friend of hers says, "She's happy to have her mouth back." When Courtney showed up at the premiere of the movie "Freedom Writers," she was still looking a little post-surgery swollen. But when a reporter asked her if she'd had surgery in France, she said, "I'm not going to comment on that tonight. I just think me looking human is cool."

Lindsay Lohan update....She had her appendix removed on Thursday. She left the hospital on Friday. She was partying with Travis Barker unil 5:00 in the morning on Saturday. Lindsay was also seen chain-smoking and drinking from her ever-present water bottle. Is that really water in there?

Orlando Bloom has no problem with being very real in front of the paparazzi. But maybe he was just a little TOO real this time around. While surfing with his buddies in Hawaii over the weekend, Orlando was photographed peeing on the rocks and blowing snot rockets.

The 33rd Annual People's Choice Awards are on CBS tonight at 9 p.m. Johnny Depp picked up three nominations, which was the most of anyone. Queen Latifah is hosting the show.

Donald Trump has been slapped with a lawsuit that accuses him and the producers of Apprentice of age discrimination. Forty nine-year-old Joseph Hewitt says he was rejected by the show because he was too old. Hewitt is also asking for class-action status so that other “old rejects” can join the suit. He claims that only two of the finalists covering six seasons have been over 40. He alleges Trump and the show's producers are in violation of the federal Age Discrimination in Employment Act. He's seeking unspecified damages.

The final Harry Potter novel has gone to No. 1 in the bestsellers chart of Amazon.com--even though it hasn't been published. The pre-order sales of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" are so huge, particularly because author JK Rowling has hinted a leading character will be killed off. There is no publication date yet for the 7th title.

A full-out battle between Rosie O'Donnell and Barbara Walters has broken out at "The View" over the Donald and his Rosie-bashing. Rosie lashed out at boss Babwa yesterday morning in a pre-show dressing-room *****-off, calling her "a [bleeping] liar," according to Page Six, and was furious with Walters for not sticking up for her during the Rosie-Trump feud of the last two weeks.

When Walters saw Rosie yesterday morning, a couple of hours before "The View" aired, she tried to hug Ro – but Rosie, who'd been on vacation over holidays, wouldn't touch her. And, according to the Post, she fumed, "You didn't call me for 10 g**damn days ... You never called [Donald] a liar."

Then, on yesterday's show, Babwa proceeded to brand Trump as such, which prompted the Donald to tell 'EXTRA,' "Barbara lied, as she knows very well." Rosie and Walters' rep says it was "hardly a squabble" and that everyone has "moved on."

Sacha Baron Cohen tells the Los Angeles Times that, by his count, Borat had the cops called on him 37 times during the filming of "Borat," and that he never washed that gray suit once or wore deodorant for, you know, authenticity's sake.

Van Halen might have to reunite after all – at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The rockers made the cut this year, along with REM, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, the Ronettes, and Patti Smith.
