I don't know... there's been a lot of speculation! People kept saying that it will be Nathan, but the future Hiro saw a newspaper with a headline saying that Nathan won the election.
I think that it's going to be someone that will get our attention, and cause the show to go into a direction that it couldn't without this death.

And, if Peter is truly like the most important hero, because of because about to absord others powers, then I would assum that it will be someone that he's already been in contact with, so he will have had their power.

Well, it's hard to guess, when all you're told is that a hero will die.
There are a ton of characters on the show. There was no clue... so, it could virtually be any hero. It could be someone who's got powers that we haven't even heard of yet. It could be the "official" confirmation that Charlie (waitress who could learn anything she read/heard) is dead.

I read an Entertainment Weekly article a week or so ago and the creators were going to smoke a lot more heroes from week to week. Since the show took off they've been a lot more sparing than they intended.
They did spare some characters... and the reason is because the actors who play the characters have really gone above and beyond, and they don't want to off them now.
But, they have to do this one tonight, or the show can't go in the direction of where they envision it going.
I'm sure that it's a major one too... but, I have no idea who, why, how. I guess we will find out soon enough.

Cool that's it's not a hero snuff film but it will suck to see some of them go.
The cast is pretty massive though and they're still going to introduce new people. Makes for a lot of storytelling but it makes it slow, too. 10 characters all in different directions.
Yeppers... we have a new hero who will be intro'd in Jan, when they come back. He's got invisibility, and has had it for years. He's going to be a teacher for Peter.

Well, can Sylar do anything at this point? Eden made him sleep, and then the mind dude finished him off. What will happen to him now? Wonder what Mr. Bennett is going to do with him. After all, the guy tried to off his daughter, and had he not mistaken Jessica and Claire (because of the news report, and that biotch cheerleader taking the credit for the train wreck) then Sylar would have killed Claire.

Looks like Sylar is a prisoner for whoever HRG works for. And it doesn't look like he's the Law since Parkman is still chasing Sylar.
Guess he will study Sylar, find out what his deal is. Or just do whatever he does with the Hero's. Matt and the Nuclear Man both had the same experience. They were bagged and tagged, we still don't know what happened to them.
