Rapper Snoop Dogg was arrested last night for possessing drugs and a firearm. Detectives from the Burbank Police Department served a search warrant on Snoop outside NBC studios in Burbank at approximately 7:30 p.m. Police say they found the rapper in possession of cocaine, a firearm and a large amount of marijuana. He was also cited for allegedly having a false compartment in his vehicle. The rapper had just performed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and was leaving the studio when police pulled his car over on Bob Hope Drive and placed him under arrest. Bail has been set at $60,000, and a lawyer expected him to be released sometime later in the evening. Law enforcement officials said the search warrant was conducted as part of an ongoing investigation into Snoop's arrest earlier this month at the Burbank Airport, after he allegedly tried carrying a gun in a carry-on bag onto a plane.

30 Rock and former SNL star Tracy Morgan was busted for drunk driving early yesterday morning in Manhattan. Police say the comedic actor was stopped after cops noticed he was unable to maintain a position in a lane of traffic. Morgan was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Operating a Motor Vehicle While Impaired. This is Morgan's second drunk driving arrest, and he's currently on probation in Los Angeles for a D.U.I. conviction. With this new arrest, he could face jail time in both L.A. and New York. The judge scheduled a Jan. 4 hearing.

Britney Spears and Paris Hilton were to co-host the Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas Monday (on Fox). Britney abruptly pulled out, and, a source with Fox says, "She didn't give a reason." Hilton is still a possible host despite losing Britney as a sidekick.

Joel Madden is no longer Hilary Duff's most wanted. And vice versa. The Good Charlotte rocker and the singer-actor went their separate ways earlier this month. A rep for Madden said: "I can confirm they are split, but other than that, we do not wish to talk about Joel's personal life." But Madden apparently has no such hang-ups when it comes to discussing his personal life. According to the Chicago Tribune, the tattooed musician opened up about the breakup during a deejay appearance at Chicago's Enclave nightclub last week, telling club goers that he and Duff parted ways due to problems caused by their eight-year age difference. Madden is 27 and Duff is 19. Madden reportedly said it was Duff who did the dumping, putting an end to their relationship of more than two years.

Sofia Coppola gave birth today to a girl yesterday. The father is Coppola's boyfriend, musician Thomas Mars. No official confirmation just yet on the newborn's arrival, but E! Online reports they have named her Romy.

Gossips say it looks like Owen Wilson is about to pop the question to Kate Hudson. Wilson was spotted Friday with his mother at the Harry Winston store at the Highland Park Mall in Dallas. A witness said, "They were looking at a huge, pear-shaped, flawless diamond engagement ring." Though the bling was an engagement band, a rep for Wilson said, "Owen's mother was looking for jewelry for herself."
