Why did Al-Qaeda refuse to assassinate the American ambassador in Iraq??!! post #1  quote:

Why did Al-Qaeda refuse to assassinate the American ambassador in Iraq??!!
[from the files of Al-Qaeda's intelligence]

Few months ago, a group of Bader forces contacted Al-Qaeda in Iraq through some Sunni mediators. This connection could be established after a group of Bader gangs impersonated armourers and after several attempts to contact the notables and leaders of some tribes in Al-Anbar and dealing with them as being armourers who are ready to arm Mujahedin with weapons smuggled from Syria.

Indeed, several shipments of these weapons arrived. Then after a few months one of those armourers claimed that he had intimate relationships with some members of the previous National Council in Al-Jaafari era, and with some security bodies inside the Green Area, so they can get in and out the Green area whenever they want, and they are ready to enable some Mujahedin to get in and out the Green Area as well. Accordingly, a brother (Mujahid) was sent inside the Green Area to testify the whole matter, and, indeed, the armourers greatly facilitated his entrance. Those attempts to enter the Green Area were repeated several times to define some targets and locate them. During those attempts Al-Mujahedin noticed a strange relationship between those armourers and the Iraqi security officials inside the Green Area, through whom our brothers' entrance was facilitated, which cast serious doubt on those armourers.

After some time Al-Mujahedin contacted the armourers to determine the possible targets that can be attacked. During the discussions, Al-Mujahedin concentrated upon a single major strike at all possible targets, including the American and British embassies, the presidency headquarters, the parliament and some other targets. On the other hand the armourers insisted upon that the plan should not exceed bombing the escorts of the American ambassador – Zelmai Khalil Zada – and the agent – Jalal Talibani - , and that the rest of the targets can be hit later. Although they knew that it would be quite difficult to have another attack after the first one, because there would be deep investigations and pursuit by the Americans, the armourers insisted on their decision and assured our brothers that they are able to repeat the operation no matter how strict the security surveillance is, which cast another serious doubt on them.

By the time they agreed about the plan and day of operation, the intelligence section of Al-Qaeda in Iraq was performing special investigations about the origins and history of those armourers.
The plan was to enable seven Mujahedin enter the Green Area: five of them are martyrs of whom three would drive vehicles (entered by special ways) and two would wear explosive belts, and the last two are for coordination and monitoring. This group was planned to enter on stages. The first operation was planned to begin at 2.00 p.m. as two cars were assigned to attack the escort of the American ambassador, and then a martyr with explosive belt should explode himself after ambulances gather to help. The second operation was planned to be done with one car against the escort of Talibani and then an explosive martyr when the ambulances come.
Before two days of the operations Al-Qaeda received information that some of the weapons those armourers sold were Iranian, not Russian as they claimed!! And that those weapons came from Iran not Syria!!. This of course increased the doubt about those armourers and the operation was suspended until our brothers have accurate information about those armourers and their real intentions.

After deep and thorough investigation, it turned out that two of those armourers are from the south, and they were in Iran before the invasion of Iraq, they were:
"Abbas Jarallah", born in Souk AlShoyoukh in 1963. He flew to Iran during the war between Iraq and Iran, emigrated to France and then he entered Syria a year before Baghdad fell. He was in a close relationship to "Abbas Albeyaty" (the latter is one of the most famous leaders of Bader forces. He is a Turkman used to live in Tozkhermato and serve in the Iraqi Army. He was captured by Iran after he was shot in his leg, but later on it turned out that this capturing process was fake and that he flew to Iran on a previous intention and planning and that he immediately joined the opposition. At that time the Iraqi Intelligence arrested his father and brothers and lots of his relatives, and took away the Super car which was one of the prizes granted to the families of prisoners of war. Later on one of his nephews "Akeel Najm Abdullah" followed him. This "Abbas Albeyaty" was appointed as the Intelligence officer in Bader forces, and he was one of the people responsible of stealing all the sensitive and the radiation equipments of the Neuclear energy programme in Al-Touaitha, which were in the Iraqi research centers after invasion).

The other one was "Mohammad Rida Shbeeb", born in AlBasra in 1971. He flew to Iran as a refugee in 1997, and then traveled to Syria in 2001 and entered Iraq after the invasion. He is a husband to the younger sister of "Abbas Jarallah".

The identity of the other two armourers couldn't be completely investigated. They are "Ahmad Younis", his real name is "Mousa Jasem Alnaseri", and the other one is "Saeed Rasheed", his real name is "Mohammad Kasem".

As soon as those information arrived, Al-Qaeda began to make plans to trap them, but the delay in carrying out the operation raised their doubt and made them more careful. However, (and praise be to Allah) after several attempts Al-Qaeda could catch one of them, "Mohammad Rida Shbeeb", and they killed his driver and another man who was with them because they tried to flee. After interrogation they could extract the full details of the operation, it was as follows:

The orders in Iran were given to the Higher Council of the Islamic Revolution (the Shiite Magian Revolution), Hizb Aldaawa and all the allied Shiite parties in the Shiite Coalition menu that it is very important to get rid of the American ambassador "Zelmai Khalil Zada" due to his negative attitudes towards the Shiite. On the other hand, Hizb Aldaawa (specifically Ibrahim Aljaafari) had insisted on killing Jalal Altalibani because of his previous inflexible attitude against electing Aljaafari for another period, not to mention the Shiite view that the Kurds are no more than a kind of demons away from whom the curtains were cleared. (1)

However, the concentration was mostly on the importance of killing the American ambassador, especially after revealing the torturing prisons and the Death Squads which belong to the Interior Ministry, and after defining this ambassador as the first enemy who is standing in the way of the Shiite (Iranian) project to dominate Iraq. That is why the Shiite headquarters were determined to kill those two persons, but the problem was: how to do it along with maintaining the Shiite position close to the Americans? How to do it while avoiding the American reaction which might deprive them from all what they gained through all those three years.

The first idea was to involve a Shiite group especially the group of Moqtada Al-Sader (the Fool's Group as they like to call it) in this operation. This way they will accomplish their target in killing "Zelmai Khalil Zada" in addition to getting rid of Moqtada Al-Sader and his gang in Al-Mahdi Army. Al-Jaafari refused that idea and there was fear of causing harm to all the Shiite people, so the Bader Legion decided to adopt this operation and do it in his own special ways with the help of the Iranian Intelligence which is rooted in Iraq. They planned to involve Al-Qaeda to perform the operation, so they hit several birds with one stone. The first and second birds are "Zelmai Khalil Zada" and "Talibani", and the third bird is Al-Qaeda which will receive a violent reaction from the Americans (which will involve the whole Sunni people), and on the other hand, the success of this operation will strengthen the position and trust of Al-Qaeda in those armourers, which would facilitate their seeking to discover where is Abu Musaab Al-Zarkawi or some important other leaders. Not to mention the forth bird which was accusing the political Sunni leaderships (Jabhat Al-Tawafoq, Al-Hizb Al-Islami and Jabhat Al-Hiwar) of being the people who facilitated the entrance of those martyrs to the Green Zone, so that they will be expelled from the political process.

In addition, there was an emergency scenario that in case of any change in circumstances, the Bader forces can trap those martyrs and arrest them before they execute the operation and give them to the Americans as a kind of awarding them for their favour in invading Iraq !!. This way, the operation would have been considered an overwhelming intelligence victory recorded for the Magian Shiites, especially if we know that those armourers were asked to penetrate some Jihadist bodies (as they could armour some Jihadist groups for more than one year and so gained some relatively important information about them).

However, it goes like "they plot, but Allah (also) plotteth; and Allah is the best of plotters". Although all this planning and plotting, and although the very tasty targets they presented to Al-Qaeda and the rest of Mujahedin it didn't work. (even though Al-Qaeda thought of carrying out the operation no matter what the benefits the Magian Shiites would gain, but they refused to do it because they considered the option of the Bader forces arresting our brothers before doing the operation and torturing them, and that was the main obsession which made our brothers decide to cancel the operation and speed up the arresting process of those fake armourers. As they determined (after discovering the truth of those armourers) that the Magian Shiites cannot be trusted in any means, and that it is not wise to trust betraying agents no matter what their shapes, colours or offerings were.

That was how this experiment ended, and praise be to Allah, no one of our brothers was injured, but the deep sorrow and the heavy tears which flew out of our martyr brothers' eyes who were looking forward to the day of the operation, waiting for it patiently, asking Allah to grant them the honour of martyrdom and the opportunity to massacre the enemy.

Only and only Allah's protection and generosity and after it the strength of Al-Qaeda' intelligence and of the other Jihadist groups were of the major effect in failing the Magian Shiite plan and not to be trapped in it.

O' Islamic Ummah, speed up on your way as the long way is very close to get to an end (with Allah's permission), and the dark nights are about to reveal the dawn of Islam.
So blesses be to those whom blood was the ink used to write the unification letters, and those who participated in warring against the infidelity and unfairness, and congratulations to those who were used by Allah to support his religion.
O' Allah, if you do not want us to be of the Mujahedin let us be their servants. O' Allah we ask for your reinforcements so increase the reinforcements and lead them to the right way, and permit the unification flag to be raised above our land, as you are the only beneficient the one who would still forever.

(1) Al-Kulaini told in Al-Kafi that Abu Al-Rabii Al-Shami said: I asked Abu Abdullah (peace be upon him) that we have some Kurd people who come with some trade, shall we deal and trade with them? He answered: O' Abu Al-Rabii, don't deal with them as the Kurds is a group of Jinn, upon whom Allah revealed the cover so do not deal with them)
