I got this game a few weeks ago... on the surface, it's pretty cool - similar to X-Men Legends, which is awesome - but when you really get into it you find it becomes quite repetitive.
For one thing, you can rarely choose your characters. They'll give you 2 characters to use in each level, and you're pretty much stuck with them. When they do let you choose your characters, you have to choose characters for a few levels at a time, and you can't choose the same character twice. Which sucks for me, because I only like Batman, Superman and the Flash.
The action's kind of cool, though, and you've got superpowers like your characters should... it's pretty fun, and the cut scenes are quite funny usually... so it's somewhat enjoyable.
Yeah, it's got a lot of the Justice League in there. I think there's like 7 playable characters, and a bunch of others you can unlock (though I haven't unlocked any...)
The first level is Batman and Superman, so I was thinking "awesome!", and the graphics were so cool. Then it was some alien dude I've never seen before, and this chick who did magic. After them, I got The Flash, who's cool too, and some dude I don't remember. There's also wonder woman.

I went and researched him, seems like a cool fellow.
You know, we got the comic forum, I might, in my boredom, do threads on the major comic characters, and do the wilkipedia thing, post some pics, etc. It would fun.
Is this game only for X-Box, or will it play on PS2 as well?
It's on the PS2, PSP, and DS also. There's a special version for the Game Boy Advance with just the Flash. I had the GBA, though. I got one and just can't play any of the games I got with it. So un-fun.
Yeah, HECK, Martian Manhunter's one of the dudes I can play with, but I don't know who he is so he usually just walks around with me while I use Superman or Batman or someone.

So you have extra characters that just hang around? Can you control more than one hero?
There's always 2 characters, but you usually can't choose who those 2 characters are (there's a couple of levels where you can, but you have to choose like 3 levels in advance). You can push up to swap between the two.
It's pretty cool, but the game play gets a tad repetitive and the whole thing's not up to X-Men Legends standard, I feel. Also, I got lost trying to find a level's exit a few times (no maps, can you believe it?). Graphics are dope though.
