Doesn't seem a great deal we can do to stop the slaughter. Let's hope the next US president is a little bit more humble, intelligent, worldy wise, and who knows... liked and respected even.

Does anyone care about next generation's future? or children's futre? Know what this means?

This law like Hitler's Enabling Act of 1933, gives [president DICTATORIAL power to interpret laws without consent of Congress. In Hitler era, Germans were told to fear communism, similar to conservatives using terrorism for fear. As result Germans gave away their civil liberties and rights to habeas corpus to Hitler. history shows what one man given absolute power wil do.

Bush scoffed and joked and said it would be so much easier running the US if he was in fact a dictator. Seeing as he obviously knows what's best for America and is, like Tony Blair, always right (not to mention on God's holy mission) maybe he now believes it would actually be the best thing for everyone if he does in fact assume dictatorial powers. So anything that moves more power in his direction is in his view moving the US in the right direction.

I'd worry when Bush refuses to leave power in 2008, or if another Bush runs for office - then be very scared!
