At the end of 2005, the New 7 Wonders Foundation panel chose 21 candidates from the top 77 nominees that had earned the most votes, and these 21 are now in the final stage of the competition to become the New Seven Wonders of the World. The official N7W 21 finalist candidates were announced by the panel's President, Prof. Federico Mayor, on January 1, 2006 in Zurich.
The final round of voting for the New 7 Wonders will continue throughout 2006 and half of 2007. Then, on July 7, 2007 -07.07.07, the dream of the N7W initiators will become a reality as the globe joins together to celebrate the New 7 Wonders of the World, as chosen by the world's population using modern communications technology.

The Great Pyramid at Giza is the only one of the original Seven Wonders that exists today. The rest were either destroyed by natural disasters or wars. Check out this website for a list of all the world's wonders!
The Acropolis of Athens
Statues of Easter Island
The Great Wall of China
Machu Picchu
Stonehenge
I either didn't recognize the others, or voted no.

Live your life like it's your last day on earth
Life is not how many breaths you take, but how many moments take your breath away.
I picked the Pyramid at Chichen Itza, the Roman Colosseum, the statues of Easter Island (I would LOVE to see those!), the Great Wall of China, the Pyramids of Giza, Stonehenge, and the Taj Mahal.
"Man is a marvelous curiosity ... he thinks he is the Creator's pet ... he even believes the Creator loves him; has a passion for him; sits up nights to admire him; yes and watch over him and keep him out of trouble. He prays to him and thinks He listens. Isn't it a quaint idea." Mark Twain
