Dave, I know what you're saying. Fuscia closed another poll, at the beginning of '06, and I broke out in hives, multiple times. Then, she started this one, and I broke out again. I think that she's a witch!!!!

I would scream out loudly to "BURN HER! BURN THE WITCH!", but she gave me the shingles and the drop palsy and nervous tremor and a leaky spleen, so I'm scared of her poll closing powers. If she closed this one, it might go ahead and kill my sorry ***.
Actually the 3 cigarettes with the same match was a fact. Back in world war 1 the British soldiers in the trenches would share matches because there were not a lot going around. Anyway the first cigarette lit would attract German snipers, the second one lit would let the sniper take aim and the third won lit never got to enjoy his cigarette.
Anyway I believe in the match one and the falling star.
I'm a fairly superstitious person. I chose all but lighting three cigarettes with one match, a broken mirror meaning seven years of bad luck, and the last two. But some superstitions are just common sense, like not walking underneath a ladder and that finding a penny is good luck. One day last year I found six pennies face up and one face down, so my friend kicked the penny that was down until it hit the wall and flipped over, and then I had a lucky amount of lucky pennies
Another common sense one is the cat one on the list. If a cat's walking toward you then of course it's good because you get to pet it If it's leaving, then it usually doesn't want to be petted, so that's not good.
"Man is a marvelous curiosity ... he thinks he is the Creator's pet ... he even believes the Creator loves him; has a passion for him; sits up nights to admire him; yes and watch over him and keep him out of trouble. He prays to him and thinks He listens. Isn't it a quaint idea." Mark Twain
