I saw this on the Lost message board, and thought that it was interesting, since we've talked about one of the things that the Dharma group was working on was something to do with aging.
quote:
She was obviously around when Dharma started their island stuff in the 70's and 80's...she says it doesn't matter what they "were" back then but what they are right now....HOW OLD IS SHE? Did she look the same when she started?
It kinda makes me think about Dr. Candle in the orientation video's...in the 70's video (8mm swan video) he had a prosthetic arm...and than in the video for the pearl which was after the swan video...he has use of both arms....
wondering if the island not only regenerates wounds and makes you heal...but also keeps you young...
any thoughts?

The theories about Juliet are all over. Some say that she was a survivor, and brainwashed, and is now an other. And some think that is what will happen to Kate now... or they will at least try. Some think that Juliet was involved with Benry (like the combo of the Ben/Henry names) but they aren't now... or that they could be related.

Well, I'm good with faces, but she looks a lot like Penny to me. I'v only seen Penny for a few minutes worth of time, so her face aint completly in my memory banks.
When Juliet was crying in the mirror at the beginning, I thought it was Penny crying over Desmond. But now that I know it's Juliet, I guess they had her cry to show she is still "human" in the midst of all these vampire like others.
That would be neato if she was in her 80's and Jack falls for her.
"Man is a marvelous curiosity ... he thinks he is the Creator's pet ... he even believes the Creator loves him; has a passion for him; sits up nights to admire him; yes and watch over him and keep him out of trouble. He prays to him and thinks He listens. Isn't it a quaint idea." Mark Twain
She is likable so far. But I like all of the "others", except for all the killing and kidnapping.
Mr. Friendly is a very likable fellow.
Mrs. Clue as well. (spelled Klugh or there abouts)
Ben, aka, Henry Gale, not so much, as he is a lying weasel.
Goodwin, Ethan Rom, the hillbilly that was using the bathroom when Micheal wandered up on him, all fun personality's.
I think they are going to make Juliet the reluctant bad guy, and like Darth Vader, she will find her good side in the end and help out Jack and crew. Just speculation, this show throws me for a loop every episode.
