Okay, just from the name (and HECK's short description of the preview) I can tell what it's about. The kids probably sit in front of the computer playing warcraft too long and get fat.
Let's check the blurb
quote:
The Massively Multiplayer Online game, World of Warcraft comes to South Park and the boys dedicate their lives to defeating an insane gamer and saving the World of Warcraft.
What do you know, I'm right. Man, I rock.
This is gonna be sweet. About time they tackled those dumb MMRORPG...
My brother-in-law likes South Park, and he's that kind of person who spends all his time playing these kinds of games... is unemployed and lives off his wife.
I hope Trey and Matt give him a wake up call.

I ain't never seen it to this extent though. Doesn't pay for anything, but expects his Xboxs and PSPs and games and everything to keep coming, then talks trash when she doesn't bring him McDonalds home or whatever. Sickening, really. I keep saying you shove him on a plane home and the problem's simply gone, no mess, no fuss.
I reckon there'll be some good pokes at people who devote their lives to these games. Because that's honestly what happens... the games are too big and complex for you to sit down for 10 minutes and be able to play it properly. And if you don't play it, it's like your tamagochi might die or some crap...
PS. Love the quote in your sig. Never seen that Bush quote before

Just saw the show... writing about it online right afterward kind of is a diss on me considering the shows topic, in a way.
Hilarious though. I don't play those zany might RPG's or whatever, but I know of them and know a dude who plays one. Not my bag, but I can see the comedy. It started out hilarious and kind of trailed off. Still South Park and still great though.
Considering the cost of the show, I reckon these guys are gonna be doing South Park for a long time to come... since they took off in popularity again after season 9, I was kind of expecting another movie to be announced. Let's see though.

They only do about 13 episodes a season so it's not a full run like The Simpsons or Family Guy. I can see how the production costs is more on South Park, plus it's on Comedy Central, but imagine if the did 20+ a year. That would be something.
I have to imagine another movie is on the horizon. I don't see how they couldn't.
BTW- I'd say about 25% of the show was this Warcraft CGI stuff. Had the characters in the Warcraft world fighting or whatever. Kind of like when they were pretending to be anime fighter guys.
It was on twice last night. They'll show it this weekend I bet.
All these new wacky shows kind of get on my nerves. I usually only have room for one or two news shows a year. Hate watching the ones that get cancelled. It's heartbreaking... *breaks down in tears*
On an unrelated note, all these new game shows are coming to prime time thanks to the popularity of Deal Or No Deal. I like Deal, but this is like deja vu from a few years back when Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? spawned a slew of crappy clones that littered the networks until people got sick of all of them and they were axed. I hope Deal can outlast, but history isn't on their side.
Back to SP, I have to say Stan's dad Randy is slowing becoming one of my favorite characters. That little league episode was great. He's even big in this one. The only one of the parents you see all the time. In this episode he pulls this dude out of a car because he has to go play Warcraft and punches him in the head and takes off. Just made me crack up.
