Jake organizes a group to gather more information about the explosions after a satellite television in the local bar broadcasts an Asian news program showing the extent of the nuclear attacks.

I think that if it's just a few places that got nuked, I would be let down. I mean, I don't want this in real life... but, I'm thinking along the lines of The Stand... and want to see some damage, and fall out. And people rise to the occasion, and survive.

Great episode last night. Seeing that little blurb on the tv... the asian news, and the huge circles of destruction on the US map. Looks like major damage to the United States. Wonder if the guys who drove off in different directions will find anything.
That blonde teacher, going off on Jake, saying that he should be dead... that was a huge slap in the face. I hope that she apologizes to him, for saying such a thing. No matter what, to tell someone that you wish they were dead. DAMN! Now that Jake brought the flight recorder back, and we know that blondies fiance isn't dead (well, we assume that radiation poisoning hasn't killed him) and the plane landed north of Kansas, maybe there's a group of people that will show up in Jericho.
What happened in the cave, with the teacher "dying" and those two guys who were responsible. Sad deal there.
I like the chemistry that Jake and Heather have... and I really hope to see them paired up, instead of Jake wanting his old fling back. I don't care if she's a hottie... time to move on.
Lots of drama in the main family. Jake's brother, sleeping with the bar owner.
Okay, and what's up with the black dude, and that cement/brick wall that he's building? Is that a bomb that he's putting behind it? What was in the canister? He gets more, and more creepy, each week. And the way that he talks to his wife!!! I wouldn't put up with that. And when asked by someone in the town if he had a family, his answer was, "I have two kids." WTF?! How about a wife?

What is the black guy hiding in the basement? I got distracted by a kid out of bed, and I don't know what is in the drum he is cementing in there.
I like Jake with Heather. The blonde was so out of line to tell Jake that she wishes he were dead instead of her fiancee. Notice that she did not appologize to him.
Jake's brother is a jerk. Cheating on his wife is not cool.
None of us know what's in the drum, Sherry. It could be explosives, or something. He did have a container, in the storage unit, with guns. Who knows... but, he is not a good guy.
Oh yeah, when Jake played that flight recorder, and told Emily that he was alive, she never said a word to him. No matter what he did, to her, in the past, she should have thanked him.

Oh yeah, when the mayor takes him in the office and does that low punch, I was happy. This isn't the time to be playing politics. It's the time to get answers, and pull together, as Americans.
