Incompetance sounds more feasable than conspiracy. And no doubt the charge can be levelled at both Bush and Clinton if you want to look into it. US foreign policy needs a good looking at, but that's probably for another president to do because Bush only has one policy - drop a bomb on it.
One has to be totally brainwashed moron to believe the conspiracy theories. Plain and simple.

Edward Teach said this in post #7 :
I've seen the video, it goes very fast and the plane is only in maybe one frame. They have to go frame by frame to really see it.
This will not put to rest conspiracy-fanatics. Nothing will. After all, they can do amazing things in a studio these days.
There was such a lunatic on a news program a few days ago. He was up against all the facts, including all the expert physicists and engineers whose reports explained how the intense heat of the fire compromised the steel in the section of the tower hit by the fuel-laden plane, that eventually buckled bringing the top one third of the WTC tower crashing down on top of the lower portion and bringing the whole thing down. All the evidence of the sane world supporting this and all the freak could say was: "Do you know that the tower came down in under 10 seconds!!!???" indicating that the tower could have only been brought down by demolition charges. Un-freakin-believable.

Like I said before, any rational person can openly conclude that the American public doesn't know the whole story about the events surrounding 9/11, for better or worse.
It's obvious planes hit the WTC, I don't think that is up for debate.
With any major event there are always going to be glaring holes that people try to plug with theories and conjecture until they find out the truth.
Looking back to before 9/11 and now, a lot has transpired and possibly more has taken place behind the scenes.
Regardless, the moment we all sit back with our eyes and ears covered and start letting the government spoon feed us all the truth we need, then we're in for a rude awakening. For those that prefer that, then I don't need to debate you, I just feel sorry for you.
I'm with you, Heck. We know that planes hit the WTC, and the results of it.
There are things that the gov't knows that we will NEVER know, regarding this incident, and many other things.
Do I believe that it's a conspiracy... what happened on 9/11? NO!
People want answers, and since there aren't any conclusive ones, there will be tales spun, left and right. Doesn't mean they are true. The gov't isn't going to let important info be leaked about this, because if they know things, they need to keep that stuff safe, until everything has been taken care of.
But, I don't believe that the gov't was involved in the events that happened. I do, however, believe that they knew a lot more about it, BEFORE hand, then they will ever tell us. And I believe that they could have possibly prevented it from happening.

And after all, where would conspiracy theorists be without conspiracy theories?

If it was a missile, and not a plane, or some C4 or whatever, what happened to the plane that was hijacked that day?
The airline would have to be in on the conspiracy, since they reported the plane as hijacked and missing.
I'm not insulted in anyway by conspiracy theories, they are kind of fun, but I imagine the family members of those who were on the 4 planes that day get pissed off by the "drones" and missile theories.
We lost 4 planes full of people that day, what happened to them if any of these theories are true?
