Post a poll?
You start a new thread. At the bottom, it asks "yes, post a poll".
You click yes. Also, to the side of that is a box that asks number of initial poll questions. The default is "4", but you can make it any number you want, under a 100. I never tried over a 100, it might work, but who would make a poll that long anyway.
Then you hit submit new thread at the bottom, like normal when you start a new thread. Instead of posting the thread, you will be taken to a new screen, where you put in the poll question, and it has spaces for you to put in answers.
at the bottome is a checkbox for if you want multiple choice. (the ability for the poll taker to choose more than one)
When done, hit submit new poll , and it will make the new thread/poll for you.
Attach an image from a website?
Right click on any picture you see on the internet, and it will give you a list with properties at the bottom. click that. Then it gives you a box with some info in it.
there will be a line that says something like "http:/yada yada yada so on.jpg
You drag your mouse cursor over that and highlight it, then right click and choose "copy".
Then you return to Inreview and in your post, choose the IMG box up above the text space where you post and "paste" that link you just copied into it.
Take a jpeg and make it fit 100x100 so I can have a personal avatar?
Microsoft Paint is on every windows system. You right click on your pic you want to resize and choose "open with m.s. paint".
Or, you can open M.S. Paint from your programs menu, and open the pic with the browse function it has.
Once you get the pic opened in M.S. Paint, go to Image. Then attributes. Attributes will tell you the exact size of your pic in pixels. Then go to Image, sketch/skew. It has two percentage boxes for vertical and horizontal. You just change the numbers in there, until you shrink it to the size of 100x100.
It's kind of a drag, you have to sketch/skew, then go to attributes again, to see how much more you need to shrink it.
For example, if you look at your pic and it's 200x200 pixels, the you would put 50% under vertical and 50% under horizontal in sketch/skew, and then it would make it 100x100.
If it's some weird number, like 342 pixels by 467 pixels, you just have to guess at percentages to shrink it, and keep checking back with attributes to see.
It's not as hard as it sound. Once you try it, and experiment, it's really easy.
Find that post I worked so hard on that magically disappeared after I spell-checked it? Grrrr...
Copy it before you spell check it, I always do. Spell check erases mine about 20% of the time.
Find out who replied to me without going thru the fuss of looking at the New Posts.
Go to My Inreview, then Options, then make sure Use 'Email Notification' by default? is checked yes.
