Okay, so I went to see this movie with my friend yesterday. Obviously I didn't think it was going to be an award winning movie, it's just one of those fun, entertaining, go with your girlfriends movie to laugh. and, it delivered. We cracked up the whole time.
More entertaining, however, were the conversations we had about the movie, leading up to our going to the theatre... here's a taste:
At the Cheesecake Factory:
Friend: We're running to catch a movie so can we get the check when you get a chance please?
Waiter: oh sure.....(goes away...comes back)....what movie are you guys going to see?
Me: Weeeeee'd rather not say
Waiter: hahaha, uh oh. Are you going to see Talladega Nights or something? Or CARS? What.
Friend: ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm, not quite. and we already saw Talladega nights THANKS, IT WAS FUNNY!
Waiter: hmmmm, not that Prada movie?
Me: <hesitant...> we're going to see John Tucker Must Die
Waiter: (bites lip, trying not to laugh..... long pause)..... i'm sorry i asked
Me: well, you should be. I SAID WE'D RATHER NOT SAY
All: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
later, that same day....
Guy at Ticket booth: NEXT IN LINE
ME: two for <whisper> johntucker
Guy: For what?
ME: <whisper> johntucker
Guy: JOHN TUCKER? pfft .... hahaha okay.....
even later....
Guy at door taking tickets: Tickets Please
ME: Don't make fun...(hands him the tix)
Guy: OH MAN HAHAHAHA follow the 13-year olds.
FRIEND: HAHAHA OH DAAAAAAAMN
ME: Don't lie, you know we'll see you in there. don't be shy. don't be jealous. no need to be ashamed.
**** note: the theatre was almost full. and no, it wasn't just 13-year olds, thanks.
it was funny! i mean, duh, predictible, but FUNNY!
Hey, your girl Jenny McCarthy is in it. She looks kinda ragged actually.

just his ego. but they broke his heart (awwwwwww!) but he still ends up a playa at the end... just an honest one. pfft. the big dramatic scene (the climax, if you will) was so lame it was hilarious. everyone in the theatre was like "what the hell just happened? what was THAT about?" it was hilarious.
HOWEVER, i did take one thing away with me from the movie.... uh why have I never been taken on a romantic date ON A BOAT WITH LIGHTS AND WINE AND DANCING AND CANDLELIGHT? I MEAN WHAT'S A GIRL GOTTA DO TO GET SOME ROMANCE LIKE THAT!!!

First I would get a guy with a boat or knows how to operate a boat and has a friend with a boat they could borrow. Either that or don't want everything you see in movies... remember when you wanted that Ewok? See how mad you got when you couldn't have one?
I never wanted an EWOK... they gave me nightmares and you KNOW THAT... why you gotta bring up the EWOK!! AHHHHH
