* The producers are looking at 3.1-3.6 as a mini-series.
* 2.1 didn’t deal with the raft survivors, and now it looks like some of the regulars will not appear in 3.1, which will focus on Jack, Kate and Sawyer.
* The show is casting one new male and two new females. One of the females is intended to serve as a romantic interest for Jack.
* “The inter-relationship between the outside world and the island will be something that will be a part of Season 3.”
* Both the smoke monster and the polar bear will be part of the new season.
* Series co-creator J.J. Abrams “is going to co-write the premiere with [co-creator Damon Lindelof], and ou[r] hope is he will direct Episode 7, which will be the first episode of the new pod.”
* There appear to be no immediate plans to follow up on what becomes of Michael and Walt. But a growth spurts in Michael David Kelly is “something which we've accounted for,” says Cuse. (Perhaps, as with “Alias,” the story will at some point jump ahead a couple years?)
Interesting, although the one about the monster seemed like a no brainer. I don't know about this mini series idea. Why mess with something that works?
Not Mr. Eko! That guy is too cool to leave already! I hope he just has to disappear from the show for a while but won't leave permanently. After all, I read that Desmond survived, so Mr. Eko had to have survived whatever happened in the hatch.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, a preview for Lost? I've not seen it yet. Hopefully I will catch it. Maybe I can look on VCast and see if it's available to watch on there.

I look forward to. Yeah!!!!!! The premier of Lost.
I also have enjoyed forgetting about it and not being frustated by it. I know an hour is not gonna be enough time.

We saw a little tease last night, and it showed Jack getting water all over him. It was like they were locked up in a dark room... inside rock, or something.

Lawless said this in post #13 : We saw a little tease last night, and it showed Jack getting water all over him. It was like they were locked up in a dark room... inside rock, or something.
Might be unrelated, but the other LOST forums have speculated since the first season that there was a underwater hatch. I think we even got into it here a little bit in some thread or the other.
I forgot all about it till seeing Jack open that door. The theory went that the French Lady had the cable out into the ocean, and it wasn't some funky wave power machine, it was a real cord to an underwater hatch.
That would be cool if this is the case, and Jack is locked up in a hatch that the French lady is using for power.
Well, from the map that they've "given" to us... on the back of that seal door, in the hatch that Locke found, I've thought that there was something in the water... plus that cable too. It will be interesting to see what's found.
Remember at the end of season one, when Sawyer falls off the raft, and we saw that shark? It had the dharma symbol on it's dorsal fin.
