I liked Kira in the alter DS9 years. Phlox was dope.
I went with Tuvix and Neelix, so I guess I voted for Neelix 1 1/2 times. That curr, I hate him with every hair on my chiny chin chin.
Remember the send off Voyage gave him? Dropped him off on a planet, was talking to him on the deal, then just cut transmission and peace out ya' turd. Catch you never.
Yeah, Neelix was all, "I'm a cook, a guide, ambassador, blah blah blah." Then by the third episode he doesn't know anything about where they are. Kes was equally worthless.
Makes me wish the jerk crew on Voyager would have lived in the first episode. That reminds me, Janeway loses her Ex/o, CMO and who knows how many other members of her senior staff then just slags them off and welcomes the Maquis with open arms and gives them uniforms. Man, the more I think about it, the more I hate this show.
***Whidden was going to go into the mind rape tower and how Janeway powered it up for another 1000 years, but he puts that sad old rant in every Star Trek thread and the post will Hereby be edited***
Once in a while. He was handy from time to time. I didn't hate him all that much. Looking back it was lame to have a kid on the show, but when it started I was kind of young anyway so it was all good. The goofy jumper he wore the first few seasons angered he though.
And it always bugged me that Wesley got to fly the ship. Here we have dozens, maybe hundreds of Engisn's fresh out of the Academy, where they went for four years, ready and willing to take the helm, but Picard gives it to some punkass kid? I would be kickin' him out of that chair.
HECK! said this in post #9 : Which episode was that...?
-HECK!
Oh it's the one where they wonder up on a planet, and they all get mind raped, and have to live over in dream vision, not knowing it's a dream, the war crimes of some people who wiped another people out, and then when it's all over, they have "learned" the lesson that we are all animals who want to kill and maim and act like turds.
So, Janeway, after the experience, sees the mind rape tower is fading out and orders her crew to power it up another 1000 years. Which was pure out ********* buggery if you ask me.
Enterprise had an episode like it. A virus mutates the captain Quantum Leap dude into some mole like hobbit creature that relives some war crimes and general thuggery. After getting cured, he has Phlox head keep the virus and not destroy it, as he "learned" a lesson.
I tell ya what, if I would have gotten sick and mutated and all that crap because Captain Bozo wanted to keep that stuff around, I'd have hunted him down and transported his sorry *** into the middle of a sun.
