Known as the "fluffy" comic in the Hawaiian shirt, comedian Gabriel Iglesias says he gets his material from things that happen every day. His comedy style - telling stories with characters and sound effects that bring all of his personal issues to life - has entertained audiences on numerous televisions shows and in comedy clubs all over the country.
Born in San Diego and raised primarily in Long Beach, CA, Iglesias got his big break on the Galavision television show "Que Locos!," which led to a comedy tour of sold-out performances all over the country. Television roles soon followed, with Iglesias guest-starring on "My Wife & Kids" and "Resurrection Boulevard," and performing stand-up in his own comedy special "Comedy Central Presents: Gabriel Iglesias." He also appeared on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "Jimmy Kimmel Live," "Good Morning America," "Showtime at the Apollo" and "ComicView."
Additional television credits include "Premium Blend," "Comic Remix," "Make Me Laugh" and the "Latino Laugh Festival." He won a Kid's Choice Award as a regular performer on Nickelodeon's "All That," and won the Comedy Central & Comcast Cable's Comedy Special of the year in 2003. In 2004, 2005 and 2006, he was voted into "Standup Showdown's" top 25 on Comedy Central.
On the big screen, Iglesias has appeared in the films "El Matador" and "The Surfer King," and he also has a CD entitled "Picachu…I See You."
Gabriel can be seen headlining nationally across the country, and when in Los Angeles, can be seen at the Improv, the Ice House, the Comedy and Magic Club, and many others.

Good Lord! Guy broke the rules and got himself bounced outta the house (boat..ship...whatever!). How freakin' lame you can't follow a few simple rules. That irked me. Glad he's gone now...idiot.

I totally agree!!
Was a few phone calls to his gal pal worth ruining this opportunity? What a complete bonehead!

Pissed away a perfect opprotunity. I had him first in the power rankings, could have won this thing. But he had to BS on his blackberry. Totally lame and he deserves to go. With Dwyer gone this could be really interesting.

Maybe he got a gig, he had the least chances of winning LCS.
I don't know about him not giving a rat's a** or not. All I know is he seemed smug about it. Like he was pleased that he got away with it for as long as he did. Lost total respect for him.
He is probably the most successful out of the whole bunch. He got more TV time, ultimately I think that's what he wanted. Or perhaps the buffet on the Queen Mary was too small. Either way.
eh who cares, i don't feel sorry for him. he brought it upon himself - more than once. everyone else had to abide by the same rules. I mean Ty couldn't even talk to his daughter ON HER BIRTHDAY, but Gabriel got to chit chat with his girl? pleeeease.
he's had his own comedy special anway, boo hoo to someone else please. NEXT!
